Meet Glamour magazine’s inspiring new batch of Women of the Year.
The Glammies as they are known, held at Berkeley Square Gardens in London, celebrate the achievements of women in various fields, from music and TV to film and theatre. All the winners are voted for by readers of the magazine.
Winners on the nigth so far include the Spice Girls, who won Band Of The Year after a massive worldwide reunion tour.
More winners as news comes in…..

Kate Beckinsale — the quintessential glamour goddess.

The lady in red tonight was Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere.

Award winner Emma Bunton left the cutesy Baby Spice gimmick at home, opting to don a beautiful black sequined number.

Sexy Spice Geri Halliwell was anything but in this metallic see-through dress. (Note to self: metallic and see-through are two words that should never be seen together.)

Former reality star Kelly Osbourne effortlessly combined gothic with bohemian in this exotically embroidered gown.

Taking a break from sucking face with new beau Jude Law, celebuspawn Kimberly Stewart kept her look young and fresh in a flirty purple mini-dress, tights and funky green sandals.

Taking the award for Craziest Look of the Night, British songbird Lily Allen debuted her new pink ‘do and matching dress. Not cute.

Last and certainly not least, our favourite Dancing with the Stars alum Mel B. was nothing short of va-va-va-voom in a sexy yet colourful bombshell gown. We’re not worthy!!

The Spice Girls add some star power at the Roberto Cavalli Menswear Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 fashion show on Monday as part of Milan Fashion Week in Milan, Italy.
Sitting front, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham caused quite a stir by keeping the fashion crowd waiting for almost an hour until they took their seat and the show could begin.

Emma Bunton isn’t letting a pesky little sprained ankle slow her down.
With one purple suede platform on, a crutched Baby Spice joined the rest of her Girls for the grand opening of Virgin Atlantic’s New Terminal at Heathrow in London today.
As for the scheduled concert at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday? Emma says she wouldn’t miss performing in her hometown for the world!

The reviews are in and it looks like the Spice Girls tour is a hit!!!
From the National Post:
The show was a masterpiece of pacing, beginning with an opening video imagining five baby girls, curiously looking a lot like the Spice Girls, growing up to be a great big band and bestest of friends, to the closing group hug, because you know we have to do this.
From the Online Times:
The Spice Girls have never been the world’s greatest singers or dancers , but they remain consummate entertainers.
But, of course, not everyone was singing their praises. From The Globe and Mail:
Most of the Girls seem to have come into their own, displaying a maturity and comfort level that may not have been there during the height of their popularity a decade ago. The stand-out exception was Victoria ‘Posh Spice’ Beckham, who looked uncomfortable in her tightly-corseted outfits and carefully-coiffed hair (which she spent a fair amount of time clearing from her face). Her dance moves were stiff and at at least one point she started to sing a line before it was time (not that you could hear her; her voice is not very strong).
Now check out the gals performing their hit song Viva Forever at their soldout December 2 show in Vancouver. Don’t miss the fierce dance routine at 2:15.
Who knew pouty Posh could actually cut a rug?

The Spice Girls kicked off their reunion tour last night, the first time all five members of the group have toured together in nearly 10 years.
When the fierce fivesome took to the multi-level stage, they sparkled in gold and bronze outfits by Italian designer Roberto Cavalli. Their two-hour concert was set to include 22 songs and involve multiple costume changes.
They opened with their signature song, Spice Up Your Life, followed by Stop and Say You’ll Be There.
Despite rumours of tensions in the lead-up to opening night, the five held hands and embraced each other throughout the show, with Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham going to great lengths to display their affection towards each other.
Girl power, indeed!

Check out the Spice Girls during the final dress rehearsal for their eagerly anticipated comeback which kicks off in Vancouver tonight.
All clad in Roberto Cavalli, singers Mel B, Mel C, Geri, Emma and Victoria were all smiles (well, except for Posh) as they put the final touches on their two-hour show which will mark a nearly ten year reunion.
Stay tuned for reviews of their show and, of course, their outfits.
In the meantime, which Spice Girl do you think looks best after all these years?

The Spice Girls made a surprise visit to the studios of Dancing with the Stars to wish Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) all the best in the final on Monday night.
Meanwhile, with two-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves hot on her tail, Mel has emerged from tonight’s ballroom battle with the highest score, positioning herself to claim the mirror-ball trophy during Tuesday’s season finale.
We’ll be happy just so long as that publicity hag Marie Osmond justifiably LOSES!!

Headliners the Spice Girls dazzled on the trademark pink carpet while show den mother Heidi Klum was all legs at the glitzy affair.

Check out your first sneak peek at the Spice Girls performance at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday.
This was their first television appearance since reuniting.
The girls kicked off their performance in 1950s-style military outfits while performing one of their original hits, Stop. They changed into evening gowns for their second number, their new single, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).
You gotta love the fact that non-talent Victoria Beckham has officially become the group’s lead.
Maaaaaay-juh!!!

Stay tuned for more!

As FYB was the first to report, the Spice Girls will debut their new music video for ‘Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)’ tomorrow at 4 PM.
In the meantime, we’ve managed to get our greedy little hands on a couple of stills from the highly anticipated video.
Looks like the Spice Girls have officially become Spice Women.
