Whitney Houston was looking rather disheveled as she left a medical building in Beverly Hills this afternoon (March 10).
However, judging from her last few live performances, it’s obvious she’s still on the sober track.
Perhaps it’s just a case of a bad hair day!
Meanwhile, Whitney surprised her daughter Bobbi Kristina during her show in Australia last week — pulling her onstage to a rendition of Happy Birthday from the 12 000-strong crowd.
The teen turned 17 on March 4 and her singer mom decided to treat her only child to a birthday she’d never forget during her performance at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
Dedicating her track Who Would Imagine a King to the teen, Miss Houston then pulled Bobbi Kristina onstage to the chorus of Happy Birthday, and unveiled a cake for her daughter.
And that wasn’t the Whitney’s only birthday treat for the teen — she reportedly hired a boat to cruise around Sydney Harbour earlier this week.
A source tells People, “They rented a beautiful boat and took a four-hour cruise all around Sydney Harbor with Krissy’s friends, the dancers and family members. That was the pre-birthday celebration. The cake at the concert was a complete surprise to Krissy. She had no idea!”
Jessica Simpson was all smiles as she visited the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City today (March 10) to tape tonight’s installment of the Late Show With David Letterman.
Sporting slightly darker shiny tresses, Jessica is on hand to promote her new VH1 reality TV show The Price of Beauty.
Meanwhile, Jessica’s BFF and hairstylist Ken Paves has revealed how the blonde bombshell deals with the endless scrutiny on her body.
“She’s the the kind of girl who barely looks in the mirror,” he tells Us Weekly. “She has such a huge conscience. When people call her fat, she worries about the women who are her size or greater and the effect it has on them.”
Ken adds: “I don’t want anybody saying bad things about you or about me or my friends.”
Whitney Port is making the most of her business-meets-pleasure trip in Miami.
Before presenting her new fashion line at Gen Art’s Fresh Faces Fashion Show this evening, The City star
enjoyed some rest and relaxation as she hung out poolside with some gal today (March 10).
The pictures have got us thinking about our summer wardrobe already. Will you be accessorizing your bikini with a turban like Whitney this summer?
Renee Zellweger was spotted taking a trip to Santa Monica, CA in her favourite pants to have lunch with a friend this afternoon (March 10).
Proving she’s a model citizen, the 40-year-old actress made sure to feed the meter before heading into the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Renee says she’s not worried about turning 41 next month.
“I don’t really think about it at all. I’m in a pretty great place right now in my life and it has nothing to do with decades or numbers,” she says. “My great-aunt just had her 90th birthday. Now that’s a milestone.”
She adds: “When I was a kid, 40 was ancient. I don’t think of it that way at all any more. Even friends in their late fifties feel like contemporaries. I’m glad of that.”
“I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived.”
Gerard Butler is in London today (March 10) promoting his upcoming action comedy The Bounty Hunter.
The Scottish-born hunk was all smiles as he signed autographs for fans as he arrived at BBC Radio 1 early this morning.
Inside Gerard revealed that he spent his first year in America under the influence of alcohol.
After moving to Venice, CA in the mid-1990s, he says his habit of wild partying meant he was drunk most of the time.
“I actually can’t remember those times so well,” revealed Mr. Butler. “Sometimes I would leave L.A. and wake up in Florida and think, ‘How did this happen?’”
