Tyra Banks was looking nothing short of crimptastic today while strolling the streets of New York City.

Joined by fellow pretty faces Chanel Iman, Veronica Webb, Noemie Lenoir, Selita Ebanks, Beverly Johnson and even Canada’s own Stacey McKenzie, the supermodel-turned-media mogul was in Manhattan today to celebrate the first all black model issue of Vogue Italia.

The beautiful bunch commemorated the historic event by holding up black balloons.

Get it? Black issue? Black balloons?

Genius!

  2. She Rides A Harley™ Says:

No pun here, though half of those woman dont even look black to me :|

  3. adam Says:

that’s because many of them aren’t more than half black harley.
what a joke. can’t we just have mixed lives based on talent (or beauty in this case)?
btw, take a hint ebony, essence, bet, ms black america.

  4. George Says:

I think the prettiest one is still Beverly Johnson. The other girls are allright at best. What the hell is that thing on Tyra’s head???

  5. dbs Says:

How could someone so dumb have a tv show.
I am sure their is plenty of intelligent women out there.
The Dumbing down of America continues,….

  6. Anonymous Says:

Obama’s preacher has a book out maybe she should have him on the show…

  7. Tealeaf Says:

Beverly Johnson looks younger the Tyra..

    I can’t bare to watch her shows…

  8. lola lola Says:

“Chanel Iman” is the dumbest name I’ve ever heard!! I know she wanted to be named after her idols but gimme a break. That’s ridiculous. Tyra is the biggest ninny on television. She is completely unqualified to do anything. Why doesn’t Beverly Johnson have a show? She’s gorgeous, smart, and accomplished—3 things that Tyra is not.

  9. Honest Says:

She Rides a Harley and adam: What do black people look like to you? Do you believe that there is a certain complexion that qualifies blackness? Black men and women come in a variety of shades and sizes that has nothing to do with being of mixed race.

  10. MikeC... Says:

I believe the correct term for most of these beauties is “Oreo” (Is that PC ???) There is some truth in what “adam” says folks…..

  11. spidermonkey Says:

The one in the blue dress needs to eat a sandwich. Or 10.

Her legs look like they’re about to snap in half. Frightening, not pretty.

  12. tsktsk Says:

I think Chanel Iman’s face is cute but her body is fucking gross. Her knees are wider than the first part of her upper legs. Her BMI must be 15. Truly disgusting.

  13. spidermonkey Says:

lola lola: Wikipedia tells me that her real name IS Chanel Iman Robinson, so she only cut off the last name.
and she really DOES need a sandwich. holy shit, her arms in that other picture….

  14. adam Says:

there isn’t a complexion that qualifies black…there’s a family heritage. you cannot tell me that many of those people aren’t mixed…like tiger, obama, halle berry, and millions of americans. my point is to stop focusing on race so much and that many of those ladies are multi racial. kinda clear.
and btw, ALL people come in a variety of shades and sizes.
too bad jessica white wasn’t there. she’s bangin

  15. adam Says:

i say the best of the bunch is noemie.

  16. marline Says:

Sorry but I’m half-black and people treat me ALL black and if I call myself white or mixed, people still treat me black and call me black. I’m not ashamed of it but I hate it when people start on the half-black, not black bullshit.

  17. adam Says:

marline, how do they treat you black?

  18. The show Says:

I was actually at the taping and youre right some of the women werent even black so i dont know why they had anything to say… but trust me Tyra looked great!!!

  19. #1 hater Says:

All that fake hair in one setting. Lol.

  20. Olamujer Says:
