INSIDE JESSICA’S 28TH BIRTHDAY BASH

Check out some just-release exclusive shots of Jessica Simspon and her loved ones celebrating her birthday at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabassas, CA earlier this week.
Joined by friends and family, including her football player BF Tony Romo, her sister Ashlee Simpson and her new hubby Pete Wentz, Jessica got an early start to cebrating her 28th birthday as she indulged in her favourite cupcake flavour, red velvet, from Crumbs bakery.
At one point, Ashlee and Jessica got on stage to “sing” with The Copycats, a cover band. Jessica’s Dallas Cowboys quarterback beau even tried his hand at singing the Guns n’ Roses hit Sweet Child O’ Mine to Jessica and the crowd.
Following dinner, Jessica and Tony hit Key Club in West Hollywood to check out Steel Panther (the artists formerly known as Metal Skool) before calling it a night.

Am I the only one who thinks she is always trying to make it seem like she is really happy? She just doesn’t look the same since her divorce. She seems fake since that…. She looks really pretty though.

You might be the only one actually. She never looked this happy last year on her birthday or when she was with John Mayer and after her divorce. I think she genuinely is happy now -having gone country, first single doing well, stable relationship with a guy who obviously is fun to be with. What would she have to fake?

They look like they had a really great time. Both Jess and Ashlee seem like they would be fun people to hang around with. I see what you mean though My2Cents, I kind of feel like Jess always needs to prove that she is better off and happier without Nick, when I think leaving him is actually one of her biggest regrets. I think she got caught up in being the hot movie star in Dukes and she thought by leaving him her career would skyrocket, but it’s really done the opposite. I bet she never thought she would be where she is today. I hope she is genuinely happy though.

I think Jessica has absolutely NO REGRETS about leaving Nick. People assume she thought she’d become a big star without him but at the time her success was largely tied to her being in the couple/marriage and she knew most of America would be sad to see that fairytale marriage breakup.
I genuinely believe that she was deeply unhappy in the marraige towards the end of it and this most probably had to do with breach of trust and things she has tried to ignore for sometime.

These are very nice pics & show an actual couple having a great time. They seem to be very into each
other. Obviously they want to be together & why the mags & haters or Dallas doesn’t want this couple is beyond me.
On another note if Jessica wanted Nick back she could have had him back many moons ago. She seems to be exceptionally happy with Tony & loving life & enjoying it. Tony seems to be very godd to her &
if there was ever a hurdle for them to cross it seems they have jumped it.
Vivica & Jess go back to her last movie & Jess & her formed a very good friendship. They are great friends & Vivica came out & stood up for Jessica about all the bashing.
Jessica does not deserve any of the crap being dealt to her.
We now have Star saying Tony is going to Carries concert in Wisconsin & will also go to Jess’s.
People won’t let this Carrie thing die. If Tony wanted Carrie he would be with her & would not have called it twice with her. Tony is not the type of man to play two women if he was he would still be out there playing the f
field as he was before last NOV & he started dating Jessica. Jessica & Tony would be through & Tony would be doing his thing as he did so well before Jessica.
I think & believe that as Jessica says her album people will get to see & hear about Jessica & be quite surprise.
I feel Jessica was deeply hurt in her marriage & knew as much as it hurt & was going to hurt taht she had to move on.
I think some need to step back & really have a look & listen to Jessica. She is not the bimbo
many think.

Seriously is anyone really interested in what she does?! I can’t believe how ready and willing she is to whore out her every step - she goes to dinner, she get’s her haircut, she’s at the airport, she’s in Texas, and so on and so on and so on. Who give a flying fuck about any Simpson or Romo? Pete and the new bulldog are the only interesting subjects in this tripped up family. These people are always desperate for attention. Idiots.
