Bai Ling is busted. In more than one way.
The celebrity D-lister was reportedly arrested at LAX yesterday for shoplifting two tabloid mags and a pack of batteries from one of the terminal stores!
Law enforcement sources tell us Ling walked into the gift shop around 4:30 PM yesterday — and walked out with the goods; total value around $16. She was placed under citizen’s arrest by a shop employee. We’re told then a “cooperative but crying” Ling was taken by Airport Police to the station where she was booked for theft.
Dana Plato robbed a bank for some extra press. Even Paris Hilton still managed to drive while intoxicated. But stealing celeb magazines and batteries? What’s next? Jaywalking without a permit??

astro - that attitude is one of the issues with “celebs”. why should they get preferential treatment??

It’s just sad how people with money feel the need to steal things. It’s all for attention. I had a friend in high school who had very wealthy parents and had a million and one credit cards to use, but she used to pop into Neiman Marcus every other weekend and steal clothes and makeup. I think its the rush? Stupid Bai Ling and her stupid little outfit. What’s with the clear bandaid things on her legs?
