More details are surfacing surrounding Britney Spears’ mysterious stay at LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last week.First things first — Brit apparently checked in under the assumed name Barbara Jean to the hospital’s 3rd floor Psych Unit. Despite starting her stay off calmly, Spears instantly went manic on her hospital bed where she hurt the pinky finger and cut her head, after thrashing into a wall.

Britney was then taken to the 8th floor of the south medical tower to have her injuries treated. Insiders say that Britney’s presence caused mini-riots throughout the facility. One patient’s mother brought in a birthday cake, and wanted to have a small party for her daughter, but was informed that distributing food was against the rules. The mom screamed: “If Britney brought the cake you’d let her,” before kicking the door to Britney’s room, which caused Britney to yell back at the woman. According to the witness, Britney also declined to join the other patients in wishing the celebrant a happy birthday, even though the gathering was in the adjacent room. But, Britney did manage to sneak a few cigarette breaks during her stay in an approved smoking area!
Meanwhile, rumours are swirling that Brit’s mom Lynne Spears has FINALLY landed in Los Angeles to see her daughter….only FIVE days after she was rushed to the hospital.

I wouldn’t want to celebrate anyone’s b-day after being put in a mental hospital.. she prob never even met the patient and after what the patient’s mother said, I would say F U too! HELLOOOOOO.. she’s not happy to be there.

We’re not talking about a terrorist, a mass murderer, or a scam artist…we’re talking about a woman who has the mental incapacity to seek and maintain treatment for herself.

this is getting really sick. stories should not be “leaked” from mental institutions; it violates basic principles of privacy for her and other patients.
i don’t think she’ll get better until we all start ignoring her so she can focus on recovery instead of publicity.

The tabloids, paparazzi and sites like this are what are destroying these young stars. Would it be so bad to ignore her for a while and let her get better? It is pretty sad and disgusting that it has come to this. How is she supposed to look after herself and seek the treatment she needs when the sleezeballs of the industry will be there lurking every step of the way. I really hope somebody finally balls up and pulls her out of Hollywood and takes her home to Louisiana where she belongs. I have seen enough mental illness in my life to know that this is scary stuff and something that can not be taken lightly or joked about by any means. My thoughts and prayers are with Britney and those boys

You can only beleive so much of this shit. If things get repeated, the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur. Britney herself probably doesn’t even know what’s true or not.
And the thing about joining the patients for a birthday cake? As if she would have done that when she had just been admitted!!?? And why would she anyway…someone would end up taking pictures of her or selling the story. And she would have signed in under a false name to draw attention away from her no doubt.
