The gallery of fans may have been a bit smaller this year because of the rain, but the red carpet leading to the gala for the 19th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival was filled with plenty of celebs on Saturday night.

Superstar mum-to-be Halle Berry was spotted sharing a tender moment with one-time costar Bruce Willis at yearly star-studded event.

    I’m so sick of watching stupid celebs posturing for the cameras and stroking each other’s massive egos on the red carpet. I hope the Golden Globes AND the Oscars are canceled because of the WGA strike. Then their egos would just… implode.

    I don’t know what they spoke about so I won’t comment on their ego’s. To me, it simply looks like they’re saying hi to one another - the same response anyone has when they see an acquaintance.
    Anyway, Halle is soooooooooo pretty! I can’t wait to see what Baby Berry looks like!!

    Hollywood has to be about the biggest collection of self-congratulatory people on the planet. What other profession has this many award ceremonies. I mean, the SAG awards is basically a bunch of actors voting for themselves and their buddies. Pretty weird. But I still watch anyway. How sick am I? Actually the only one I tend to watch anymore are the Oscars. What can I say, it’s still fun to watch the pretty people–to envy and make fun of them. It’s a mixed bag for me.

    I agree though…. I wonder how the stars would survive without their annual mutual-petting zoo’s on the red carpet. Chances are, if there is no script, no one will show up for the oscars, et all.
