Recovering anorexic Mary-Kate Olsen has suffered another devastating blow to her health — a kidney infection!
The actress entered the emergency room of a New York hospital on Monday.”
Mary Kate got a kidney infection,” says rep Nicole Caruso. “She’s resting comfortably and will be released in the next day or so.”
The actress, who turned 21 in June, recently said she was in good health.
Put down the Balenciaga and pick up a big ole bottle of cranberry juice, girlfriend. It’s gonna be a long and painful ride!!

I am sorry for the HOMELESS girl, and I hope she will get well. I said homeless because it is so rare to see her and her sister dressed in ”normal” clothes, all the time she looks like she robbed a homeless woman for the clothes. Crazy outfits, Namomi Campbell could fill great in the same category, you would never imagine seeing a super model dressed in such hideous clothes http://www.7gfb.com/?p=638 . Poor girl. I’ve had a kidney infection before and its awful. Hope she’s ok. At least she hasn’t had an anorexia relapse.

Kidney infection is most often caused in young women by a UTI. I think “kidney infection” is just something a PR person would say as it sounds a lot better.
Either way, I hope she feels better.

Nobody gets hospitalized for a UTI, erin–not even wealthy celebs. A kidney infection is serious business.

Although your kidney is part of your urinary tract, at UTI nowhere near as serious as a kindey infection. My experience of a kidney infection stands out as the most unpleasant illness I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some dingers. Seriously, they’re incredibly painful (over the counter meds won’t touch the pain), they develop very swiftly, and respond relatively slowly to antibiotics.

Kidney infections are no joke. Actually a UTI can cause or lead to a kidney infection along with having sex with a new partner. My first month of college away from home, i was hospitalized for 5 days with a kidney infection. The doctor told me that kidney infections are caused by untreated UTI, new sexual partners or lots of booze and drugs. It’s not pleasant, so i hope she feels better. d

UNSWEETEENED cranberry juice is used for a UTI, NOT kidney infection… And those two ARE-DIFFERENT,… PEOPLE!!!! DDUUHHH!!!!! Yes, one CAN lead to the other IF untreated. But only a dumbass celebrity with major issues would let that happen. Oh boy, is our society REALLY interested in ALL of this?????!!!!! SICK!!
