brad-pitt-and-angelina-jolie-charity-donations

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s good looks are only surpassed by their big hearts.

According to the 2008 tax return for the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, the actors/humanitarians quietly donated more than $6 million to charities last year, more than double what they gave in 2007.

The biggest recipients: Global Health ($2 million), Human Rights Watch ($1 million) and Brad’s Make it Right Foundation ($1 million).

Other notable contributions included $500 000 to the Armed Services YMCA of the U.S. Army; $50 000 to the Springfield, Missouri Public Schools (Brad’s hometown); and about a million dollars to projects in Cambodia, the country from which they adopted their first child Maddox.

Yeah yeah the problem is they, like bono (tax dodger) always asking government to be charitable with our tax dollars and we have no say on how it’s spent or where.

Out of the hundreds of A-listers, you wanna bet the second place does not even come close to them. And for those who bitch and moan about them. What percentage of your income do you actually donate to charities?? If you have to lie about it, that makes you even worse of a human being. Trashed all you want about their love affairs. At least give credit where it’s dues.

yeah, asking the government to do good with all our taxes! Our money that could be well spent in fake boobs or a bigger truck, spent in those social causes to improve society at large, in public roads or even in those stupid schools!
I say: homeschooling! Lets not allow thoseliberals make our kids think with their so call science!

and return out tax dollars, so we can get stupider and drunker and what is left give to the all mighty church!

    Whatever anon^^

You act like they don’t pay taxes, too.

We don’t pay nearly as much in taxes as most other developed nations do– you need to get over it.

Either that, or stop using the public roads, relying on the police/fire depts, using the library, sending your kids to public schools, etc.

Um, has no one here heard of Oprah, who is a bigger giver, and an A lister?

No one runs around claiming to be humanitarians as much as these two.

And whoever said we pay more taxes than developed nations needs to sign up for a class in International Economics.

Trust me I’ve met a lot of people like this.

Agree with Ugh, Oprah perhaps donate a heck lot more, However, in terms of percentage I’m not sure she can top Brad and Angie. Don’t forget Oprah’s worth over Billion!!
