TOM AND THE FAMILY TAKE A BITE OUT OF BEANTOWN

Tom Cruise took a break from his work this afternoon (October 4) to spend some time with his gorgeous family.

The 47-year-old joined his son Connor, daughter Suri and wife Katie Holmes in Boston, MA to do some shopping and grab some food. The family of four enjoyed lunch at Charlie’s Steak House and then took a trip to the Nike store where they found some new kicks.

Afterwards, Tom, Katie and Connor put their new purchases to good use by enjoying a mid-afternoon jog around the heart of the city. The trio were kept safe and secure as bodyguards followed not too far behind while a security staff member kept a watchful eye on a bike a few steps ahead.

Monday morning it’s back to work on Wichita for Tom as he resumes some high-risk action scenes aboard a speeding car.

That would suck to have bodyguards follow you around when you run. I love my morning run on the beach by myself…great way to clear your head. I think Tom and Katie seem like a good couple, they spend a lot of time with their family even though they are obviously very busy people. Katie seems like more of a mom to Connor and Isabella than Nicole cares to be.

It’s those times you are glad your not a celebrity. I think Tom and Katie seem like a really good couple. They find time to spend with each other and the kids despite both being very busy. Katie seems like more of a mom to Connor and Isabella than Nicole cares to be.
