Samantha Burke, the mother of Jude Law’s illegitimate child, was seen leaving her home in Pensacola, FL yesterday (September 27) with their baby Sophia for the first time since returning from the hospital after the baby’s birth last week.

The doting new mom was driven by her mother to the home of a close friend living nearby. Upon arriving at the home, Samantha could be seen carefully guarding Sopia’s face from the sun (or the paparazzi?) as she hurried inside.

Meanwhile, according today’s New York Post, Jude has made the topic of his newborn baby daughter off limits when it comes to interviews.

The star was on Live with Regis & Kelly last week, promoting his stint in the Broadway production of Hamlet, but he was noticeably never asked him about his daughter.

A source tells the publication: “He has banned interviewers from asking about it before agreeing to sit with them.”
