Jude Law looked lonely and introspective as he stood in front of a movie theater on the Lower East Side of New York City last night (September 20), where he waited to meet friends for a movie.

While occupying himself in the interim with the latest issue of the New York Times, a mystery lady briefly approached the Brit lothario and appeared to be flirting, but he seems uninterested for the most part.

Meanwhile, Jude was recently cleared of allegations he assaulted a female photographer after officials in the U.K. ruled no action will be taken against the 36-year-old actor.

As you may recall, Jude was pictured lashing out at a female snapper as he tried to get to his car after leaving a London nightclub in July but a judge deemed that he had no intent to assault anyone.
