Newly blonde Katharine McPhee and Emmanuelle Chriqui were among the fashionable femmes who stepped out to check out the endless parade of glamorous dresses.
Guests couldn’t help but notice the floral hosiery accompanying the line’s confections. “I was inspired by this floral tattoo so I had my team hand-paint each one on,” co-founder Georgina tells WWD. “I don’t think they liked that very much.”
In what will be no easy feat, Marchesa will dress uber pregnant supermodel Heidi Klum for the Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday. Says the Project Runway host’s publicist: “Unlike most actresses who shrink in size leading up to a big event, Heidi keeps getting bigger.”
Fellow attendees on hand to check out some red carpet gear included the likes of Blake Lively, Becki Newton, Emmy Rossum and celebrity stlylist/reality TV star Rachel Zoe.

I love Marchesa dresses too, and I think Georgina Chapman is beautiful, although she’s not at her best here.
