Joined by a bevy of celebrities and fashionistas, Charlize Theron hosted the launch of the new designers floor at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City last night (September 9).

After a year-long renovation, the luxury specialty store celebrates in style the unveiling of the new designer floor, which is home to 49 of the world’s finest designer collections.

Following the star-studded cocktail reception, Saks showcased 32 one-of-a-kind cocktail dresses created exclusively for the launch by some of the floor’s renowned designers such as Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Vera Wang, DIOR, Zac Posen, Oscar de la Renta, Jil Sander, Chloe and many more.

Joining Miss Theron for the fashionable festivities were the likes of actress Alexis Bledel, Vogue editrix Anna Wintour, Gossip Girl cuties Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, fashion photographer Bruce Weber, reality TV stars Christian Siriano and Bobby and Jill Zarin, supermodel Doutzen Kroes, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, model Lauren Bush, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and designers Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Carolina Herrera and the one and only Oscar de la Renta.
