Eva Mendes tried to talk her way out of a masturbation scene that opens her new film, ‘We Own The Night’ - because the idea of watching herself moan and groan on a big screen terrified her.

The big screen siren did everything she could to change director James Gray’s mind about the “uncomfortable scene”, which she actually shot at the end of filming - but he insisted that’s how his movie should start.

Thank goodness for executive decisions.

    the movie was slooooow, I was disappointed.
    Eva has some saucer- sized nipples too.
    She’s gorgeous though.

    the movie was alright. that scene was really gratuitous though. you see three girls boobs in the first ten minutes and t then there is no nudity or sexual content in the rest of the movie. its like the director put it in to guarantee an R rating. it was so unnecessary and contributed nothing to the plot at all.

    Uhm, I couldn’t hardly see anything or hear anything at all. Every movie you watch now has nudity and sexuality in it for no reason. This movie looks good and it really didn’t seem like the plot needed this or a bunch of boobs to make it good. I guess as long as dumb ass women are willing to degrade themselves then men will take advantage of it.
