Joel Madden and his ever adorable and growing daughter Harlow enjoyed some father-daughter time at a Los Angeles area farmer’s market today (August 30).
Between sampling some fresh baked goods, 19-month-old Harlow proved she’s daddy’s little girl as she sought comfort his arms (or between his legs as it were) amid a crush of weekend shoppers.
No word on family matriarch Nicole Richie’s whereabouts but considering the recent death of her former fiance DJ AM, it’s likely she is still in a state of mourning. In fact, the expectant celebutante hasn’t touched her Twitter account since the celebrity DJ’s untimely death last Friday.
Meanwhile, Joel has admitted that he loves spoiling Harlow and cannot wait to become father for the second time.
“I love to spoil Harlow. She’s a real Daddy’s girl,” he says. “I can’t wait to welcome our new baby into the world in a couple of weeks, Nicole is really looking forward to giving birth.”
The 30-year-old Good Charlotte rocker further confessed he was much more relaxed about Nicole’s second pregnancy. He adds: “It’s a lot easier. You’ve already been through it and it’s not as intense and dramatic. We’re a little more relaxed. It’s actually kind of nice. You just have to roll with it and learn as you go.”

There is nothing cuter than a daddy with his little girl! Harlow is growing up so quickly and she is sooo cute…looks a lot like Nicole! I wouldn’t be surprised if Nicole went into early labour due to AMs death…even though he was in her past I can’t imagine how hard it would be to lose someone who used to mean the world to you.
