With a couple of days off before her world tour resumes on Saturday, Britney Spears is making the most of her time off.
Looking fresh and fabulous, the 27-year-old pop superstar was all smiles as she took her son Jayden James Federline to see the Shrek the Musical on Broadway in New York City this afternoon (August 27). Eldest son Sean Preston steadfastly followed behind aboard a bodyguard amid a crush of photographers.
No sign of Britney’s reported boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jason Trawick. Demanding for some space, it appears the Toxic singer has put their relationship on ice.
“They are taking some time apart,” a source tells OK! magazine. “She told him she needed to get back on her own two feet before moving forward. Jason was disappointed, but he understood.”
The insider adds: “Jason’s always loved her, [even] since the Justin Timberlake days, so he won’t let her go easily. He’s giving her space — that’s what she’s asked for.”

Her son is so cute. I understand why she loves him more than Sean Preston. Now if only Britney could ditch those damn boots.
Even though she’s busy touring every night, she’s getting to spend lots of time with her sons lately which is great. I’m surprised she doesn’t just want to sleep all day after her shows. I wonder why Sean P wasn’t here? Cue the stories about Britney liking Jayden better…yawn
i dont care what anyone says. britney has proved it over months and months that she likes her youngest son the most. she favors him in every photo. i guess it is normal to like one more than the other but it shouldnt be so apparent.
there are lots of pictures of her giving her eldest son special attention. those just don’t sell like these to satiate the public’s thirst to criticize her parenting. she can’t carry both kids, the eldest is heavier. it makes perfect sense for her to hold on to the youngest while a bodyguard holds the other one.
kfed doesn’t even hold either kid and he has two nannies, his girlfriend and bodyguards with him.
There are no pictures of her giving SP any attention because she doesn’t give him any. She hasn’t since the other was born. She is a bitch, and a terrible mother.
