KYLIE SPARKLES AT ‘WHITE DIAMONDS’ PREMIERE

Singer/actess/cancer survivor/icon Kylie Minogue had fans going berzerk as she graced the red carpet at the UK premiere of ‘White Diamond’ in London on Tuesday night.
The documentary follows Kylie’s triumphant return to the world stage with her 2006 Showgirl Homecoming Tour following her successful treatment for breast cancer in 2005.
The 39-year-old star was drapped in hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of diamonds courtesy of jewelry firm Tous. It was announced yesterday that Kylie would represent the Spanish company in its global advertising campaign.

She looks good and all but I’m not really feeling the dress. Also, millions of women (and men) battle breast cancer without media spotlight and are not the less special I apreciate that Kylie has bought awareness to the issue but it is a sad day when people are more concerned about their own health if a celebrity tells them to.
Anyway, good on her she’s a tough cookie.

I am glad she brought awareness to it and is doing well. But I never got her. Maybe it’s the foot long teeth (sorry, I know it’s not what’s important). Is her dress covered with diamonds too??

She looks better than she has been lately. Perhaps she layed off the botox or something because her face doesn’t look as freakish.

I am not a fan of Kylie’s. I think its great that she has raised awareness about breast cancer and has fought hard to get through it herself, but that’s not enough of a reason to like her I don’t think. Millions of women go through cancer and it doesn’t automatically make them a nice person or in Kylie’s case a talented person. She doesn’t write her own songs, most of them she covers up her voice with effects…she’s just been very very lucky to get where she is today I think. Her looks are definately fading as she gets older as well…her face looks awful lately. Probably all the botox.

Stephi said it just right–couldn’t agree more. Kylie never made it at all in the US that I can recall….she has had a good run in Europe in the dance/tech area but she needs to let it go now…..all that electronic enhancement must be wearing thin by now over there……

She looks beautiful here, much better than whatever she effed up her face with a few months ago. Eurocelebrities are always a mystery to me. There is a long history of shallow talent disproportianate to huge fame — see Spice Girls, Jordan, Jade Goody et al. That being said I love them all!

kylie’s cool she’s been around forever always on the edge of new music styles and her shows are an extravaganza. She’s a singer/showgirl and never promoted herself any other way. Not being big in the US dosen’t mean anything there are over 160 countries in the world…..
