Michelle Williams spent a little quality time with her 2-year-old daughter Matilda Rose Ledger in New York City recently.

The mother-daughter duo first enjoyed eating some ice cream before taking a walk in the West Village with the Ledger family, including grandpa Kim Ledger and aunt Kate Ledger.

Meanwhile, Michelle just wrapped up production on the flick Shutter Island alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. She stars as the haunting dead wife of the 34-year-old actor’s character in the mystery drama movie. Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley also star in the Martin Scorsese-directed flick.

The movie tells a story about two American marshals who come across a series of catastrophe as they investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane.

Before joining the star-studded cast of Shutter Island, Michelle was involved with the ongoing production of Lukas Moodysson’s Mammoth with co-star Gael Garcia Bernal.
