After arriving in Boston, MA for the start of his next highly-anticipated feature film, Christian Bale was seen enjoying a warm Sunday afternoon (July 12) strolling in the city.
Dressed California casual in swim trunks and flip-flops, the 35-year-old actor also flaunted his appreciation for Australian rugby, wearing a South Sydney Rabbitohs team hat.
Riding high off the box office success of Public Enemies, Christian will soon begin filming David O. Russell’s The Fighter.
Co-starring Mark Wahlberg, the flick is the “true story of two incredibly gifted boxers who were half brothers. The one, Dicky Ecklund, who fought Sugar Ray Leonard at a very young age, when he was twenty one, was an incredible natural talent. He lived a very hard life. Then he came to train his brother, Irish Mickey Ward, to the world title.”
Christian will play Dicky, while Mark will play “Irish” Mickey. Amy Adams, meanwhile, is said to be in final negotiations to also star in the movie.
