Kristen Stewart hit the set running — quite literally — as got into character as Joan Jett during the first day of filming on the set of The Runaways in Los Angeles today (June 22).
The 19-year-old starlet took a nasty fall in her leather suit as she was filming a jump during an “action” scene. After not getting up for a few moments, a group of concerned PA’s rushed to her side to assure her welfare.
Meanwhile, Kristen says girls either love her or loathe her. She tells Tiger Beat: “Girls either really like me or really hate me because they want to be me.”

Ooohhh that quote really did not come out well. It makes her sound really vain and in love with herself, when what I think she means is that girls are jealous because she is the main Twilight girl and gets to kiss Robert Pattinson. She should not have said it like that, it will make those little tweens hate her even more. She’s kind of boring to me though, definately not the reason people go to see Twilight.
I think she is actually spot on. I just know that I love her more now that I know she finally realised she loves Rob! Sigh. She looks to be doing a great job on this movie…can’t wait to see it!
