Jessica Alba spent a gloomy Saturday afternoon (June 20) with her little family in Beverly Hills.
The 28-year-old actress grabbed a bite with husband Cash Warren and daughter Honor Marie on Sunset before heading over to the magazine stand to catch up on the latest gossip.
Meanwhile, Jessica has reportedly acquired the screen rights to a French comic book series titled The Insiders. The news originated from “various French language Websites,” which also sees Jessica’s Sin City director Robert Rodriguez as her partner in securing the comic’s film rights.
Jessica will play Najah Cruz, a Columbian woman with “the weapons expertise and combat skills of a James Bond.” Her character is ordered to infiltrate a crime syndicate on behalf of the United States government, where she ultimately works her way into becoming the lead criminal’s body guard.
Consider it the big screen version of Dark Angel.

You’re such a talentless hack writer. She doesn’t look gloomy, she looks she’s not answering the paps’ questions. If you actually looked at the pictures you’re posting, she’s grabbing interior decorating magazines, not gossip ones at all. She probably realizes they all have the same writing quality as this crap blog: see star, fill in blanks no matter what the pictures show. Is this going to be like May when you posted 10 different sets of pictures of Alba, referred to her smile as rare and every set had her smiling? I swear, I have no idea how you keep this job. At least Honor’s cute and Alba looks good, pity about the crap words you cluttered this up.
You wouldn’t have said gloomy if it weren’t Alba and she doesn’t look GLOOMY or bitchy at all. She does look cute, though, like the baby. That french movie sounds interesting!
This is actually one of the few times where she doesn’t look too gloomy. She just looks like she is going about her day. I still think she is completely in love with herself though…her time is kind of over now.
