Christian Bale was uncharacteristically happy as he, his wife Sibi Blazic and their 4-year-old daughter Emmeline departed from Los Angeles International Airport yesterday (May 24).
Something that will likely wipe that smirk right off Christian’s face is news that his latest film Terminator Salvation closed in second place at the box office this weekend. It banked $43 million.
Ben Stiller’s mindless sequel to Night at the Museum took the honor of first place, raking in $53.5 million in ticket sales.

Enough with the “uncharacteristically happy” bullshit. Bale is far from the “angry man” the media has made him out to be. He’s been in the business since he was 14, and has shown politeness and pleasantness in numerous print and TV interviews over the last 21 years. He just happens to lose his shit a few times in the last year (which all of us are guilty of doing at some point in our lives), and all of a sudden, he’s deemed a hothead and a psycho. C’mon, give the guy a break.
He is a great actor becuase of his rage! It’s not like he is romantic comedies or anything.
