Kanye West is not the jerk he wants you to believe he is.
The controversial rapper is holding a benefit concert in Concert through the Kanye West Foundation, which his late mother Donda established to curb high school dropout rates. He’ll play the Stay in School benefit concert June 11 at the Chicago Theatre.
“I have always had the desire to help people and make the world a better place. I believe that youth are the music for creating a world filled with harmony. To create such a world, however, we must all do our part,” West said in a statement.
Tickets for the concert, which will air on Fuse later this summer, go on sale Thursday.

Kanye is so talented and that’s why he comes of as an asshole a lot of the time. Most truely gifted people are like that.
