Wander around New York City these days, and chances are, you’ll spot Jennifer Aniston.
The 40-year-old actress has been all around Manhattan shooting her new comedy, The Baster. Today (May 14), trucks and trailers were seen near Central Park, on the east side where Jen was taping.
Meanwhile, in a new interview with USA Today, Miss Aniston remembers one of the many ill-fated dating maneuvers she experienced while waiting tables during the days she wasn’t famous.
“I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant,” she recalls. “The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, ‘Get up!’ It was horrible.”

Jennifer on whether she wishes if she could be Sue for a day, and just get in her car and drive anywhere she wanted without being recognized: “Would I love a level of anonymity? Sure, there are times I’d love to take a moment. But that’s lonely. It seems like a lonely existence that (Sue) has made and convinced herself that it’s comfortable.”
Jennifer on whether she could ever see herself doing anything other than acting: “That’s such a tough question. I would say, probably something in the health industry. It’s too late to go to medical school. I’d travel. I’d go back to the years that I never did what I’d wish I’d done, which was travel Europe and backpack. That sounds slightly romantic. What I would do? I don’t know. Maybe become a chef. There’s so much more to do. It’s almost overwhelming. I’ve gotten to a great place in my career.”
Jennifer — a self-proclaimed workaholic– on what it takes to get her to go on vacation: “Not much to go to Mexico. I’d even suffer through that and put a mask on.”
Jennifer on what it takes for her to sign on to a project: “You’ve got to really love the project. I just left home after I built up my house for 2½ years. I moved in for a month and now I’m here. I don’t want to do the same thing over and over. It’s not about, ‘Oh, it’s going to be a big hit.’ I don’t want to do that.”

Jen Fan, you must know some rough looking 25 year olds if Aniston looks 25. It’s clear that she’s done something to her face especially around the mouth area. And please don’t get me started on a middle aged woman twirling her hair. God, grow up.
She is down to earth and very natural in this interview and her career has never been better.

You’re missing some context, Arasto (and anon1). The first question was in reference to her role as Sue in the film Management co-starring Steve Zahn.
She does come across as very natural and honest in her interviews. Listening to her you feel like you are just chatting to a friend. I beleive her when she says she doesn’t just choose films because she thinks they will be a hit. Looking at her films she has got quite a range in what she has chosen to do. I don’t think she really gets the credit she deserves as an actress sometimes.

John Mayer very insulting and arrogant behind the scenes : you don’t know. He copies from males, steals their ideas and tries to rival other males. That is his focus and that is what sent him gay. RIVALRY. It is all a sexual competition between him and his brother, that he never fully resolved in his childhood. He has been meeting women on Twitter, sleeping with them as long as they are discreet. Their “relationship” was a SHAM from the beginning. The TWITTER “break up” excuse is a joke; they have no reason to “break up” and now they know audiences know they were faking it, they don’t even care to explain. They did ANYTHING to gain publicity over Pitt to win the Christmas war…..even pose nearly nu-de, talk about pregnancy, create marriage rumors for publicity…etc…Her personal life is HIDDEN. He agreed to a contract to run concurrent with her production, Marley and Me. That is why their (acted) relationship started at the beginning of M&M and ended as soon as the film delivered it was a publicity stunt, funded by the production: same as TBU. What people posting don’t understand is that she doesn’t want a judge a jury of her personal life, and the investors don’t want her personal life effecting the film’s gross return. So that is the truth, and what is more bizarre is that Vince did the same thing with TBU (same as Sculfor). They had a fictional relationship too, that seemed to people reading magazines, as though it was real. It wasn’t. Echo and Narcissus was a poem written by the Roman poet Ovid as part of his monumental work Metamorphoses. It combines two ancient legends: Echo, the wood-nymph, and Narcissus, a hunter who falls in love with his own reflection. This was the first time that the two legends had been told together.

The reason Jen (faked dated Vaughn) was because Vaughn and Pitt were friends who worked together. Jen’s sex life isn’t with these fake men……..it is planning a future and getting revenge on the past.
