Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard wed in Italy over the weekend.
“We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2,” her rep says.
31-year-old Maggie and 38-year-old Peter wed in a small chapel at hotel Masseria in Brindisi near Rome.
Among the guests? Maggie’s brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, and his girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon.
The couple has a 2-year-old daughter named Ramona and live in Brooklyn, New York.

#4 - Don’t think their facial expression is a reflection of their feelings for each other or their recent marriage, but a relection of their feelings on attempting to live a normal life with their daughter under a constant media presence. This couple seems distant and unhappy. I guess their tense body language means there is a darker side to their personalities and a potential sign of some skeletons they have in their marital closet.
I’m not a huge fan of hers I have to say. I find her looks very average and she was the one thing about The Dark Knight that I didn’t like. Boring. Her little girl is cute, she looks like something out of the olden days! Little House on the Prairie is dead on!
