Still glowing from her weekend wedding, Salma Hayek was seen with her husband Francois-Henri Pinault and their adorable one-year-old daughter Valentina while leaving their hotel in Venice today (April 27).
It was the “second take” for Salma and Francois-Henri as the lovebirds first tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in a civil ceremony in Paris.
Meanwhile, it appears that it was the star-studded reception following their wedding that’s all the talk today. The evening’s highlight? When the new bride joined guests Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Bono and Damien Rice on stage for a rendition of the ageless classic Stand By Me.
And while rumour has it the wedding cost a whopping $2 million, Salma denies it, saying: “I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun. I think spending millions of dollars on a wedding is ridiculous and it has never been my dream. I would never do that.”
As for where the happy family is now headed? To the canal city’s Marco Polo airport. It’s honeymoon time and the phrase “three’s company” has never been more approrpriate.

Why would she deny that her wedding cost that much? She has money, and her husband is very, very rich. So what if it cost 2 million. No reason to play it down…. I don’t get it? Why the modesty?
