Actress/comedian Sherri Shepherd will be introduced next week as a new cast member on ‘The View.’
Barbara Walters said today that she would reveal the new cast member on Monday.
According to a source close to the show (who shall remain nameless), that will be none other than Miss Shepherd.
This news should come as no surprise. She has been a guest host more than a dozen times since Star Jones Reynolds left last summer.

Good for Her. The show has sucked since Meredith left and Rosie came on fkd it all up…who else left??? Oh ya Star Jones…..duh. I liked the show back then, minus when they all talk at the same time and you can’t understand what the hell they are saying. Oh and when Star was really fat and used to gasp for air in btwn every sentence….it fucked with MY breathing just watching/hearing her I couldn’t watch then either.

She is funny but I kind of think she might be a bit similar to Whoopi. They need someone else on there who will bring a different perspective to the show. Maybe someone younger who wasn’t a comedian?

This is NOT a replacement for Star.
They need a professional woman who will bring FACTS to the panel.

Chicken Little: have you ever watched the view? There are no facts there, its all the lady’s opinions. No one has their facts straight, everyone brings their own personal agenda. I’ve seen SS fill in and she is no pushover. Plus she’ll be good to go to once Hilary is elected president. SS husband cheated on her, produced a child and she took him back.

What the fuck is with this show? I have no idea what th View is cause I see no pleasure in having middleaged women discussin worldpolitics and whatnot, but why do they keep getting a new cast every week? Is one of the bitches dying every week? WTF? Stick to one crew for the love of God.

Bejeebus - the premise has always been 5 women. They never replaced Starr (who quit). Sherri is replacing Starr. It was just in the time they were looking for a replacement, Meredith quit and was replaced by Rosie who eventually quit and is no replaced with Whoopi.
