America Ferrera was among those honored last night in New York City by Time magazine.

Leaders from the arts world, poltical world and every world in between gathered to celebrate the magazine’s annual list of the ‘100 Most Influential People in the World,’ where Hollywood mingled with newsmakers like Queen Rania of Jordan.

The ‘Ugly Betty’ star was overjoyed at the influence her hit show has had. “The show has taken on a life of its own,” she said at the star-studded gala. “I feel really proud to be a part of it. I know the show means a lot of things to a lot of people. It really is truly inspiring what ‘Betty’ has done.”

Chinese beauty Ziyi Zhang opted for classic black with lace detailing.

After a temporary fashion faux pas at the recent Costume Institute Gala, Cate Blanchett was back to her stylish best, wearing a sleeveless black gown.
