Brad Pitt has just arrived at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, southern France with
Zahara and
Shiloh where his partner
Angelina Jolie has checked in before the birth of their twins.
UPDATE: Michel Sussmann, the doctor caring for Angelina, said at a press conference today, that his patient is doing fine. Asked when the twins are expected, he replied “in the weeks to come.”
Saying that Jolie’s “very, very nice,” the doctor added, “She will stay in the hospital until the birth. I will stay with her.” When asked to be more specific about the due date, he said, “This is something you can’t program, you never know for sure.”

How did Angelina Jolie spend the first day after Mother’s Day? With her girls, of course!
The mother-of-many was spotted out shopping with two of her children, 23-month-old Shiloh and 3-year-old Zahara, today in Monaco.
The heavily pregnant actress visited a kidswear store where she bought some Grand Prix clothes.
Meanwhile, babydaddy Brad Pitt toasted Bono at a birthday bash across town the day before. Angie stayed home at the villa.

Uber parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie treated their two oldest boys — 6-year-old Maddox and 4-year-old Pax — to a day of skiing and snowboarding on Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, CA over the weekend.
While Brad was also seen carrying one of his daughters (mostly likely baby Zahara based on my blur reduction setting), Angie was spotted carrying around a snowboard.
Not surprisingly, Shiloh was nowhere to be seen.

The good folks at Us Weekly recently caught up with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their brood of ankle-biters at a Springfield, Missouri Chuck E. Cheese.
Joined by Brad’s family, onlookers gazed at the picture perfect posse as they “feasted on pizza and played arcade games during the two-hour-plus visit.”
Says an onlooker: “Brad was surrounded by a bunch of girls and boys. Angelina was holding Shiloh. She was so cute!”

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the family (sans Shiloh) head to the movies in The Big Easy on Wednesday to watch The Waterhorse. (Perhaps Shiloh was left at home because she’s too young to understand the movie.)
The international family walked out of AMC Palace Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana today with two bodyguards following them out. Angelina held baby Zarhara with a warm blanket and Brad carried Pax in his arms. Oldest brother Maddox happily walked alongside his family.
Brangelina looked happy and excited to be together the day after Christmas. After leaving the theater, the family went to KFC’s drive thru and then decided to call it a day and went home.
Needless to say, a fun time was had by all!

Considering the fact that Zahara Jolie-Pitt is getting set to celebrate her third brithday, it’s sorta strange that new and shocking stories continue to surface surrounding her adoption.
The very latest? Angelina Jolie’s bundle of joy was conceived after her mother was raped!!
Mentwabe Dawit said she was attacked in 2004 after walking home from work at a construction site at night in the southern Ethiopian town of Awasa.
“He pulled a dagger, put one hand on my mouth, so that I could not scream. He then raped me and disappeared,” she tearfully recalled to Reuters.
Dawit, 24, kept it a secret until she could no longer hide her pregnancy.
She gave birth to the child in the family’s home, naming her baby girl Yemsrach (which means good news in the Amharic language).
Unable to feed the child, the baby “became malnourished and was even unable to cry,” Dawit told Reuters. “I was desperate and decided to run away, rather than see my child dying.”
Distraught, Dawit’s mother put the child up for adoption.
Dawit denied erroneous recent reports that she wanted her birth daughter — whom Jolie, 32, renamed Zahara — back.
“I have never disputed the adoption of my baby by Angelina Jolie,” she said.
“I think my daughter is a very fortunate human being to be adopted by a world famous lady. I wish them both all the success they deserve.”
Hmmm….I wonder how much Mentwabe got paid to change her story and to back off of Angie and Zahara.

Angelina Jolie claimed the mother of her adopted daughter Zahara had died of AIDS before she adopted her from an Ethiopian orphanage. But a woman who claims to be Zahara’s mother is very much alive — and now says she’s happy that the 2-year-old has found such a wonderful home.
“I’m happy to see my daughter in a better life,” says Mentewab Dawit Lebiso.
Mentewab says she ran away from home in the first months of Zahara’s life because she was too poor to feed her. Unable to cope alone, Mentewab’s mother, Almaz, brought the child to a local official who contacted Wide Horizons for Children, an adoption agency. Although Almaz insists she told the official that her daughter had run away, Zahara’s legal papers claim that her mother had died.
That agency has now called the police to investigate Almaz’s claim that she never said Zahara’s mother was dead.

A recent (and ridiculously wrong!) tabloid report from In Touch magazine claimed that Mentewab Dawit Lebiso, the woman who was said to be the birth mother of Zahara, wanted the child back back from adoptive mother Angelina Jolie.
According to the tab, Zahara was conceived when her mother was raped by a stranger who broke into her home.
Well, folks, don’t believe everything you read — especially when it’s in the pages of In Touch magazine.
According to the agency that approved it in 2005, Angelina’s adoption of her baby girl from Ethiopia was totally “legal.” Not only that, but Dr Berhe, head of the Wide Horizons for Children agency, tells Reuters that the senseless “media hype by unethical journalists.”
“The court also investigated the social status of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt before approving the adoption,” he added.Dr Berhe said the adoption was “legal and irrevocable.”
What’s more? During the adoption process, Zahara’s grandmother brought three witnesses to court who testified that Zahara’s mother had died and that her father was unknown.

Super rad dad Brad Pitt lays a big one on daughter Zahara and they return from a helicopter flight with mama Angelina Jolie and son Maddox in New York City on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, there are whisperings that Angelina may have reconciled with her estranged father John Voight.
A beaming Voight was snapped leaving the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in the Big Apple yesterday, where Angelina and Co. are currently residing.
The two have not spoken since John accused his daughter of having “mental problems” after her split from Billy Bob Thornton in 2002.

After urging the world to get its “priorities in order” at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting yesterday, Angelina Jolie returns to her first love — being a mom!
With 2-year-old Zahara hanging off her neck, the mother-of-four was all awkward smiles under a blanket of attention as she stepped out in the Big Apple today to pick up young Maddox from school at the Lycee Francais de New York.
Zahara, on the other hand, remained coooooool as a cucumber.
