The lovely angeles of Victoria’s Secret’s descended upon the calkwalk at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach on Saturday for the lingerie company’s annual ruwnay show.
R&B crooner Usher kicked off the show, which featured 35 barely-dressed supermodels, some wearing angel wings.
Models including Heidi Klum, Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima strutted down the runway at the newly renovated Fontainebleau Miami Beach during the show, which coincided with the opulent reopening of the hotel.
The runway sparkled with glitter everywhere and two silver palm trees adorned the stage. Models showed 68 outfits, including the $5 million Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra worn by Adriana.
Says Victoria’s Secret CEO Sharen Turney: “The theme of the show is a return to glamour. Victoria’s Secret is about sexy and the new sexy is glamorous for this season.”

Usher really loves women.
Weeks after announcing his female-only One Night Stand tour comes news that he’s hoping to turn up the heat in America’s bedrooms with his own lingerie line.
The sexy crooner was spotted at the Marlies Dekkers runway show at Paris Fashion Week in France over the weekend, where he confessed he was seeking inspiration for his own saucy garments.
Says Ush, “I’m launching a lingerie line for men and women.”
He insists “comfort and intimacy” will be key in his new line.
The first samples will feature in his new video Trading Places.
Usher isn’t the only R&B star getting ready to launch a lingerie line — Janet Jackson will unveil her Pleasure Principle lingerie in November.

The R&B crooner has a lot on his plate right now. He’s just wrapped up working on his latest video for the song Trading Places, has a fall tour in the works and is reportedly expecting his second child.
Although there has been no confimation, Usher recently spoke candidly about the joys he’s found in being a dad.
“Loving it. Loving every aspect of it. My life improved so much in having a child,” he tells MTV News. “I’m very happy. It’s a very promising thing to have a child. … Everybody’s saying that [I'm expecting another baby]. There’s a lot of speculation.”

Ladies…this one is for you.
Usher will soon announce details of his One Night Stand tour, which will see the R&B crooner gyrate his hips in front of a female-only audience.
Asked why he wanted to perform a “ladies only” tour, Usher said he relishes the challenge: “There’s only a few artists that can pull that off. I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”
The specific dates are still being worked out for about 15 “intimate” venues. (In other words, Usher can’t sell out large stadiums anymore.)

Here’s your chance to see Usher live!
Tickets recently went on sale for the R&B star’s one-night only concert at the Apollo Theater in Harlem scheduled for June 6. If you can’t afford to buy tickets, Usher performed live at Bryant Park on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series this morning to promote his new album, Here I Stand.
And while Ush has garnered himself five Grammys and millions of album sales worldwide over his 14-year career, he says it is his new role as husband and father that has really made him a man.
“When I became a husband, I became a great man,” Usher told GMA’s Robin Roberts this morning. “Everybody knows what I used to be. Now, [I'm] a man of integrity. To be a father — daddy — to my family [and] my wife is the most incredible thing ever.”

Usher was giddier than a kid in a candy shop when he did a meet and greet with sailors, marines and coast guardsman from the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard aboard the USS Kearsarge in New York City today.
The R&B crooner is currently on a media blitz promoting his new album, Here I Stand.
Meanwhile, it’s Usher’s wife Tameka Foster who is getting the rave reviews for changing her hubby’s playboy ways - because he was never able to remain faithful to his partners before the pair met.
“When I became a husband, I became a great man,” says Usher. “Being a guy who’s a hustler, a player - everybody knows who I used to be. But now (I’m) a man of integrity. The combination of father and individual. Being a young man who could have a bevy of women and do whatever, to become more conscious to accept a monogamous relationship - not just (to) be that guy who goes from woman to woman, but a guy of substance.”

Between showing off his latest dance moves, Usher chats with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show tomorrow about wife Tameka Foster and his baby boy.
Here’s an excerpt:
Ellen: “What surprised you most about this new little baby in your life right now?”
Usher: “What surprised me about him….that I had him…”
Ellen: “Really, that was a big surprise…”
Usher: “That was a big surprise (laughing). Actually everyday learning more and more about the beauty of fatherhood. As an African American to be there for my child is so important when their are so many young African American kids without their fathers. Everyday I’m charged with that responsibility so I’m doing this for a generation coming as well as the ones from the past. I just want him to grow up to be as wise, as smart as he possibly can be, be kind, open hearted.It’s changes everything about me. My approach of life…he is my reason for living — outside of my wife, obviously, for helping me have him.”
Ellen: “Yeah.”
Usher: “I couldn’t of done it without her.”
Ellen: “She did most of the work actually. … And, speaking of your wife, the press seems like they’ve been very hard on your marriage.”
Usher: “Some what. The opinion is that maybe this wife has come in and torn something down … she’s built it up even more now the foundation of who and what I am is even more. This stands for more what I want to see more of … I want to see more men standing with their women. I want to see more men be open and honest about where they are in life and that’s a lot of what I chose to talk about in my music not necessarily just about my relationship just about being vulnerable being honest … that’s the reality.”
