We haven’t seen much of Ashlee Simpson lately.
But the mum-to-be stepped out last night for a taping of MTV’s FNMTV in Hollywood to support her fellow sister in motherhood Solange.
After a performance and interview, the two aspiring singers were all smiles as they chatted about music, children and how it feels to be the less famous, less talented and less pretty sister.

Beyonce joined her little sister last night as the Knowles girls hit the dance floor during a party to celebrate
Solange’s 22nd birthday at a Hollywood Hills mansion.
While DJ Samantha Ronson spun records, celeb invitees like Lindsay Lohan, Ludacris and JoJo sipped on champagne and snacked on barbecue chicken and cornbread.
As for the music? It was a medley of every hit Beyonce and hubby Jay Z have ever had. Together and seperately.

Solange Knowles, younger sister of
Beyonce, has a 3-year-old son named
Daniel Julez.
In a new interview with Essence magazine, she reveals what’s up with her football player babydaddy, Daniel Smith. They were “high school sweethearts,” she says. They met at a high school party through mutual friends, when she was 13 and stayed together seven years. But now?
“Well, I am no longer married, but I think it’s very important not to dish details. We are friends and we coparent our son. When he gets older I don’t want him to read anything about me saying anything about his father or vice versa. When there’s a child involved I think the less information given is best.”
Any regrets. “No, I think every decision has made me who I am today. I’ve embraced everything because I know that only God can give life, no one else. I’m happy that I have a beautiful, wonderful, amazing child who’s made me a better person.”

Looks like someone’s stylist is mad at her!
Draped in an ill-fitting gold number, R&B diva Beyonce hit a sour note as she arrived to the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday.
On the bight side, her normally less attractive sister Solange looked rather fetching in an adorable emobroidered mini.
Beyonce and Shakira won Most Earthshattering Collaboration for ‘Beautiful Liar.’
Her shimmering dress barely contained her top — shortly after she picked up her trophy, Beyonce reportedly asked an assistant backstage to help fix her dress, apparently to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.
