Shania Twain is finally addressing her split from her producer hubby
Mutt Lange.
In a statement on her website, the Canadian country star says:
“As I am sure you have seen or heard; I am going through a rough time personally in my life,” the country singer wrote. “I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you. Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength. Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life.
I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love. I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey.
I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake; I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever.”
Shania and her ex announced their split on May 15 following a 14-year marriage.

Did Mutt Lange really leave Shania Twain for Marie Ann Thiébaud, a longtime secretary and manager of the couple’s chateau in Switzerland?
Lange denies the claims. “It’s absolutely not the reason [for the separation],” the famously reclusive producer told PEOPLE when asked about the alleged affair. He also denied that he was in a romantic relationship with Thiébaud: “I’m not, no,” he said. “It’s not true.” (Thiébaud could not be reached for comment.)
An insider says the “You’re Still the One” singer is “devastated. This came out of left field. . . She loved him.” Another source close to Twain tells PEOPLE the Canadian-born star is coping with the help of “a very close-knit group of family and friends.”
Cheating on the woman from the Man! I Feel Like A Woman! video? We didn’t even know that was humanly possible!!

Mutt Lange are getting a divorce!
In a just-released statement, Shania’s peeps said: “Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.”
Guess that explains what’s been taking Eilleen so long to release a new album!

Country star SHANIA TWAIN accessorized her Grecian-inspired Monique Lhuillier gown with lots of diamonds and a contemporary take on the classic french twist at tonight’s 42nd Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, ‘Heroes’ babe HAYDEN PANETTIERE kept her gown young and modern, going strapless and blingless at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills.

Taking a break from mother/wife duty, country music goddess Shania Twain made a rare public appearance at tonight’s 42nd Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
The 41-year-old Canadian chanteuse had jaws dropping when she showed up looking more stunning than ever in a simple white Grecian-inspired gown and tons of Neil Lane bling.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s time for Shania to get back in the studio and back on tour? Less pancake face Carrie Underwood and more Shania!
