Renee Zellweger channels her inner Old Hollywood glamazon as she hits the red carpet at the 80th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Sparkling in a strapless Elie Saab gown, the award presenter showed off her killer shape in the unforgiving number.

Now work that pose, Miss Zellweger!

Renee Zellweger, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr. and Oscar nominee Javier Bardem are among the stars recreating classic scenes from Alfred Hitchcock movies in a new Vanity Fair magazine spread.

CLICK HERE to check them all out. They’re amazing!!!

Zellweger imitates Kim Novak in Vertigo, Gwyneth plays Grace Kelly to Downey Jr.’s Cary Grant in To Catch A Thief and Bardem teams up with Scarlett Johansson to recreate a scene from Rear Window.

The inspired spread also features Jodie Foster, Charlize Theron, Marion Cotillard, Naomi Watts, Keira Knightley and Jennifer Jason Leigh recalling classic scenes from The Birds, Dial M For Murder, Psycho, Marnie and Rebecca.

But perhaps the most eye-catching snapshot is that of chubby funnyman Seth Rogen running from a plane - just like Cary Grant did in Hitchcock’s North By Northwest.

Enjoy!

What makes Renee Zellweger most proud in her celebrated acting career is that she’s kept her sanity. “It’s weird to have fame precede you in any situation … and I’m very proud of myself that I’ve not been to Betty Ford yet,” the 38-year-old actress tells Harper’s Bazaar. “Never say never!”

Among her career achievements? “Learning what my boundaries are. That I’ve been able to stay out of the psychiatric wards despite the really bizarre exchanges I have on a daily basis,” she says in the magazine’s December issue.

Renee on being a homebody: “I’m not a big scene girl. If I see the scene once a year, that’s more than plenty.”

Renee on being single: “I’m so busy catching up with the people I miss when I’m working that I’m not busy missing someone.”

Renee on her one-time rumoured flame Paul McCartney: “He’s as lovely as I expected. We have mutual friends. The crush and I have mutual friends.”

Leatherheads costars George Clooney and Renée Zellweger are on the cover of W’s December issue.

George tells the mag, which hits stands nationwide on November 23, that he didn’t know what prostitutes were until he cruised around in a Porsche with his cousin, actor Miguel Ferrer, when he first moved to California: “I didn’t know what hookers were. We pulled up at the stoplight, and all of these girls came over, and they were like, ‘Hey, do you want to party?’ I looked at Miguel and I said, ‘Chicks love me, man! I’m on fire here!’”

George on backing Barack Obama in the next presidential election: “I spoke to him two days ago for a half hour. I think that he’s in that sort of doldrums, that midelection run, where you’re still trying to define what it is that you want to be.”

George on borrowing shots from directors he admires: “I sent apology letters to Mike Nichols and Sidney Lumet after Confessions because I just directly stole shots. But then I told Joel and Ethan that I’ve stolen shots from them, and they’re like, ‘Yeah, we stole that shot from Capra.’”

George on rewriting the script of Leatherheads to accomodate his age: “You can’t try to hide your age and you can’t try to pretend it isn’t there. You have to use it as a tool.”

George on Renée’s role in the upcoming film Leatherheads: “In movies, so often the guy gets to be the one with all the answers. In this one, she’s the smart one. Which was incredible acting on her part.”

George on directing Renée: “She’s my friend, so I can be really direct. I can say, ‘That’s not a good angle,’ and not try to manipulate her, saying, ‘Well, maybe you’d be looking off over there because the moon is shining.’”

George on encouraging gawker readers to post fake sightings of him: “They had 6,000 locations for me in the first day.”

George on working with master directors like Joel and Ethan Cohen and Steven Soderbergh: “[They] taught me everything I know. If you plan it out and work really hard, then it’s much easier to make films.”

Renée on her fear of letting George down in Leatherheads: “…He doesn’t even know how important his opinion has been to me over the years. I don’t want to disappoint him.”

Renée on George’s direction in Leatherheads: “I just get so proud that my head pops off. George is such a confident director, and he has no idea. And he’s a nice person. It gets boring hearing that, but it’s true. Every once in a while you get the real good guy. You’ve got your Jimmy Stewart. You’ve got your Paul Newman. Now you’ve got your George Clooney.”

Renée on gawker encouraging readers to post stars’ precise whereabouts: “Oh, I log on every day to see where George is. Oh my God, get your things! He’s at Barneys!…The problem with that is with his schedule these days, the sightings were all true. He was in all 6,000 places that morning—before lunch.”

Looks like Renee Zellweger has been sucking on one too many sour lemons.

Showing off her new uncomfortably short ‘do, the Oscar-winning actress was looking typically whacktastic as she joined her ‘Bee Movie’ costars Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Matthew Broderick for the film’s star-studded premiere in New York City on Thursday.

The film opens on November 2. We’re hoping Renee’s eyes will do the same.

In the new issue of Reader’s Digest, Renee Zellweger keeps it simple and brief when it comes to her short union with country singer Kenney Chesney: “I got married, and I’m not married. Not everything works out like you might hope, and I’m not the first person to have disappointment in my life.”

The ‘Bee Movie’ actress also says she has left L.A. for New York and doesn’t miss the paparazzi at all.

Here are some highlights:

Renee on why she left L.A.: “I wasn’t really into being followed around everywhere by six guys in six SUVs with two-way radios.”

Renee on the paparazzi: “Yeah, there’s this whole network. You start to recognize them, and it’s like, You’re not invited. I have a fitting, then I have to go meet this director to discuss the next project, then I have an interview, and I’m going to go for a run. And you’re not invited. But they’ll come with you all day. I don’t want to feed the fishes. I also don’t want to be one of those people who are sour about it. So I decided I’d just leave.”

Renee on the possibility of remaining single for the rest of her life: “I don’t want to sound cavalier by saying that I’m okay with my situation, because I’m not a frivolous person and don’t take on something of such significance lightly. But there’s good in every situation. It sounds simplistic, but I still have the good things that have always been in my life.”

Renee on her relationship with her ‘Leatherheads’ costar George Clooney: “You know, we have a lovely relationship. I write him six-page e-mails about my political rage, and he writes back, and cares too.”

HUMANITARIANISM AT THE SHOE STORE

Above all, Renee Zellweger understands that every woman deserves a pair of really fierce shoes.

The A-list actress recently treated a woman she met in the Saks shoe department with a pair of Manolo Blahniks the woman had been admiring earlier.

Barely 15 minutes after she went back to work, Faracino was approached by the shoe department’s manager with a gift-wrapped box. “These are compliments of Renee Zellweger. She wanted you to have them,” he said. Inside were the Manolos she’d been admiring.

Meanwhile, the starving remain hungry.

A HAMPTON’S LOVE TRIANGLE?

Is Paul McCartney dating Renee Zellweger or Christie Brinkley? Or both? The former Beetle was spotted egaging in some hardcore flirting at a Hamptons bash over the weekend.

Zellweger, 38, spent some animated face time with Beatle Paul McCartney on Saturday jamming to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

As Zellweger smiled, laughed and hung on the 65-year-old musical icon’s every word, our lensman spotted Brinkley casting what appeared to be less-than-delighted glimpses in their direction - and no wonder.

After all, it was just two weeks ago at a James Taylor concert in the same East Hampton venue that Brinkley, 53, sparked romance rumors when she and Sir Paul, who is estranged but not yet divorced from Heather Mills, cut a rug.

Whatever the case may be, Paul has shown quite an affinity over the years for younger blondes — and both Renee and Christie certainly fit that bill.

Stay tuned on this one!

After showing off her new summer fling via a very public makout session at the recent Billy Joel concert in the Hamptons, newly in lust actress Renee Zellweger makes her way to the Neil George Hair Salon in Beverly Hills on Monday for a fresh new ‘do.

If my theory on women and love renders to be true, Renee’s next stop will be Bloomingdales where she’ll find a fabulous new dress and the perfect pair of shoes for the couple’s next date.
