After two decades and two investigations explaining how Princess Diana died, youngest son, Prince Harry, still says “no one will ever know” what really happened, according to a joint interview with Harry and brother Prince William, scheduled to air Monday on NBC’s ‘Today’ and ‘Dateline.’

Inquiries by French and British authorities concluded that Diana died because her driver was drunk and speeding and she was not wearing a seat belt. Harry doesn’t say whether he shares the views of Mohammed al Fayed, dad of Di’s boyfriend Dodi who also was killed, that they were murdered, and Matt Lauer doesn’t ask him. “Whatever happened in that tunnel. You know no one will ever know,” Harry says. “Have you stopped wondering?” Lauer asks. “I’ll never stop wondering about that,” Harry replies.

The interview comes after another series of embarrassing tabloid stories about Harry’s late-night carousing; last week Harry, a “British Army officer”, was spotted boozing it up and kissing waitresses in a Calgary bar near where he is training at a Canadian base in Alberta.

If you’ve seen the sea donkeys who live Alberta, you understand just how inebriated young Harry must have been.
