After two decades and two investigations explaining how Princess Diana died, youngest son, Prince Harry, still says “no one will ever know” what really happened, according to a joint interview with Harry and brother Prince William, scheduled to air Monday on NBC’s ‘Today’ and ‘Dateline.’

Inquiries by French and British authorities concluded that Diana died because her driver was drunk and speeding and she was not wearing a seat belt. Harry doesn’t say whether he shares the views of Mohammed al Fayed, dad of Di’s boyfriend Dodi who also was killed, that they were murdered, and Matt Lauer doesn’t ask him. “Whatever happened in that tunnel. You know no one will ever know,” Harry says. “Have you stopped wondering?” Lauer asks. “I’ll never stop wondering about that,” Harry replies.

The interview comes after another series of embarrassing tabloid stories about Harry’s late-night carousing; last week Harry, a “British Army officer”, was spotted boozing it up and kissing waitresses in a Calgary bar near where he is training at a Canadian base in Alberta.

If you’ve seen the sea donkeys who live Alberta, you understand just how inebriated young Harry must have been.

As a result of the increased risk to himself and those around him due to his royalty status, Prince Harry will not be sent to serve in Iraq.

Usa Today reports, the British military Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt announced his decision in a statement today.

“I have decided that the risk to Prince Harry is too great. There have been a number of specific threats, some reported, and some not reported, which relate directly to Prince Harry as an individual. These threats place not only him but also those around him a degree of risk that I now deem unacceptable.”
.
Prince Harry is currently serving as an army second lieutenant in the elite Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry. He would have led 12 men in four armored vehicles on reconnaissance missions.

Troop Commander Wales is disappointed by the reversal but will continue his military career.

“Prince Harry is very disappointed that he will not be able to go to Iraq with his troop on this deployment as he had hoped,” Clarence House, his father’s office, said in a statement. “He fully understands and accepts Gen. Dannatt’s difficult decision and remains committed to his army career. Prince Harry’s thoughts are with his troop and the rest of the battle group in Iraq.”

It was an event of royal proportions over the weekend as Prince Harry and his gal pal Chelsy Davy cuddled and kissed at an equestrian competition outside of London. The impossibly adorable couple appeared as if they didn’t have a care in the world, despite the soldier prince’s immiment deployment to Iraq.

Newly single Kate Middleton attended the event on Friday, hanging out with a group of close pals, including a mystery male companion who stayed by her side all day.

Moving on already?

Meanwhile, a lonely Prince William was keeping his mind firmly on the sporting action (and not on his break-up) as he watched from the sidelines.

With weeks before his imminent departure to serve in Iraq, Prince Harry made the most of his remaining time in Britain by joining close pals and family for a royal send-off at a London nightclub over the weekend.

Guests, including gal pal Chelsy Davy, older bro Prince William, cousin Peter Phillips and Peter’s Canadian girlfriend Autumn Kelly (see above), danced the night away in Harry’s honour. At one pòint during the evening, the young Prince gave a emotional farewell speech admitting he’s “a nervous wreck” and saying: “I’ve waited a long time and just want to get out there and serve my country. I’m prepared to do anything they throw at me, whether it’s to serve on the front line or carry out a desk job in Basra.”

I’m not a gambling man, but my money is on the stuffy desk job in Basra.

Prince Harry and gal pal Chelsy Davy continued their never-ending Caribbean vacation by taking in the World Cup cricket match between England and Bangladesh in Barbados yesterday.

Proving that he’s a good patriotic Army officer, Harry followed the game like a shark, at one point even employing a pair of binoculars to get a better look at the action.

Meanwhile, Chelsy, a Zimbabwean-born beauty, kept herself busy chatting with friends and texting on her mobile phone. Although soon to be parted, the couple have obviously decided to relax and make the most of their Caribbean holiday - and their last few precious weeks together - before they endure a six-month separation.

Hey, no one ever said war was a happy occasion.

During their romantic three-week Caribbean vaycay, Prince Harry took the opportunity to show his girlfriend Chelsy Davy his sporty side.

The hunky royal spent much of yesterday jet-skiing, waterskiing and wakeboarding as his bodacious gal pal watched on from a safe distance. She rejected his calls to have a go on a wakeboard, preferring to lie back aboard their boat and soak up the sun in a red bikini instead. A decision we fully support.

All eyes may have been on England’s World Cup cricket action, but Prince Harry had more important things to tend to (i.e. gal pal Chelsy Davy.) The young royal and the pretty South African smooched and laughed their way through England’s crucial game against Australia in Antigua yesterday.

While 22-year-old Harry rocked a striped polo shirt, gorgeous Chelsy showed off her shapely figure in a green and white top and denim mini.

The young lovers are currently sharing a romantic break on nearby Barbados, enjoying quality time together ahead of the Prince’s deployment in Iraq, where he will be stationed for six months. And happy duo’s appearance during their three-week Caribbean break at the sporting event was a rare sighting, as they’ve spent most of the time closeted in their room at the Glitter Bay resort.

Gee, I wonder what they could be doing in there the entire time?
