Prince William and Prince Harry were on hand today to watch the fly past during the City Salute sunset pageant in London.

The royal twosome attended the event at which The City of London thanks British troops and their families for the sacrifices they make on their nation’s behalf.

Joss Stone, who met the princes at the Wembley concert to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, sang at a concert after the pageant.

Before he was given a medal for his service in Afghanistan today, Prince Harry joined his brother William as the royal twosome competed in an Audi Polo match in Berkshire, England on Sunday.

Gal pals Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy proudly looked on from a neighbouring tent. The two girls sipped champagne during the match while Chelsy, who is a post-graduate student at Leeds University, appeared to have a stack of papers on her knee, as if she was brushing up on some studying.

Are both royal couples on the mend?

Clad in army fatigues, Prince Harry visits the Royal Navy’s fleet diving squadron at Horsea Island, where he carried out some underwater engineering in Portsmouth, England on Wednesday.

The young prince can use all the positive PR he can get right now. Why, you ask? Well, you see, police are interviewing him and a hunging pal after two rare and legally protected birds of prey were killed on the royal family’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk last week.

Witnesses allegedly saw Harry shoot two hen harriers in flight on the estate last Wednesday evening. Should he be convicted of the crime, Harry could face up to six months in prison or a $10 000 fine.

A shamed Harry walks the stairway of shame following a booze-filled weekend

Prince Harry missed his flight home from France yesterday after going on a 24-hour drinking binge with the England rugby team.

The disgrace royal — who flew to Paris to watch South Africa beat England in theWorld Cup Rugby Final on Saturday - was having so much fun helping the squad drown their sorrows at their Paris hotel, he didn’t call it night until the early hours of Monday and was subsequently forced to hitch a ride back with the team.

A source told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper, “Harry was joining inwhole-heartedly with the rest of the team’s drinking, but looked absolutely gutted when he realized he had missed his flight. The team thought it was hilarious though, and were happy to let him join theirs.”

The 23-year-old party animal landed in London’s Heathrow airport yesterday, before heading to an awards ceremony for Well Child - a charity that helps ill children.

We’re still not quite sure whether he was offering the help or getting the help. Stay tuned!

R.I.P. PRINCE HARRY

A work of art entitled ‘The Death of Prince Harry’ by artist Daniel Edwards is on display at the Bridge Art Fair today in London.

The Memorial features Prince Harry laid out before the Union Jack with pennies placed over his eyes and head resting on the Bible. The statue suggests the tragic outcome of a confrontation in Iraq’s Maysan Province with the Iranian weapons smugglers for whom Harry’s tank regiment was scheduled to patrol. Prone with his unfired gun still holstered, Prince Harry is represented clutching the bloodied flag of Wales, and holding to his heart a cameo locket of his late mother, Princess Diana, while a desert vulture perches on his boot.

Our thoughts? Is this art? Or just disturbing?

Photos from a video taken during Prince Harry’s Namibian holiday last November are sure to land the royal in hot water.

The pictures show Harry inhaling vodka — yes, vodka — through his nose in a risky drinking game.

The video was shot as Harry enjoyed a four-day canoe trip with girlfriend Chelsy Davy and more than 20 pals on the Orange River in Namibia.

Sure, it’s not quite a sex tape, but it should at least score him his very own reality show!

Led by Princes William and Harry, a memorial service marking the 10-year anniversary of the death of their mother, Diana, princess of Wales, got under way in London today with a reading by William, the future king.

Members of the public were not invited, but hundreds of people gathered outside the chapel and cheered William and Harry as they arrived to greet guests.

While most of the royal bunch was on hand to represent, the wife of Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, pulled out of attending the service, saying she did not want to be a distraction. So, where was she? Picking mushrooms in the countryside.

PRINCE HARRY QUESTIONS DI’S DEATH

After two decades and two investigations explaining how Princess Diana died, youngest son, Prince Harry, still says “no one will ever know” what really happened, according to a joint interview with Harry and brother Prince William, scheduled to air Monday on NBC’s ‘Today’ and ‘Dateline.’

Inquiries by French and British authorities concluded that Diana died because her driver was drunk and speeding and she was not wearing a seat belt. Harry doesn’t say whether he shares the views of Mohammed al Fayed, dad of Di’s boyfriend Dodi who also was killed, that they were murdered, and Matt Lauer doesn’t ask him. “Whatever happened in that tunnel. You know no one will ever know,” Harry says. “Have you stopped wondering?” Lauer asks. “I’ll never stop wondering about that,” Harry replies.

The interview comes after another series of embarrassing tabloid stories about Harry’s late-night carousing; last week Harry, a “British Army officer”, was spotted boozing it up and kissing waitresses in a Calgary bar near where he is training at a Canadian base in Alberta.

If you’ve seen the sea donkeys who live Alberta, you understand just how inebriated young Harry must have been.

HARRY NOT GOING TO IRAQ (SURPRISED?)

As a result of the increased risk to himself and those around him due to his royalty status, Prince Harry will not be sent to serve in Iraq.

Usa Today reports, the British military Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt announced his decision in a statement today.

“I have decided that the risk to Prince Harry is too great. There have been a number of specific threats, some reported, and some not reported, which relate directly to Prince Harry as an individual. These threats place not only him but also those around him a degree of risk that I now deem unacceptable.”
.
Prince Harry is currently serving as an army second lieutenant in the elite Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry. He would have led 12 men in four armored vehicles on reconnaissance missions.

Troop Commander Wales is disappointed by the reversal but will continue his military career.

“Prince Harry is very disappointed that he will not be able to go to Iraq with his troop on this deployment as he had hoped,” Clarence House, his father’s office, said in a statement. “He fully understands and accepts Gen. Dannatt’s difficult decision and remains committed to his army career. Prince Harry’s thoughts are with his troop and the rest of the battle group in Iraq.”
