Staying true to her new hippie chic maternity style, Ashlee Simpson was spotted heading to a Fourth of July party yesterday in a printed moo-moo, gypsy flats and oversized shades.
Joined by her hubby Pete Wentz, the mum-to-be didn’t answer any paparazzi questions about the bun in the oven, but rather shared a few festive greetings before slipping inside an awaiting SUV.
Meanwhile, rumours continue to mount suggesting that Mr. and Mrs. Wentz are expecting a boy. The latest piece of evidence? They recently created a gift register at exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor. According to sources, the couple purchased an over abundance of blue things.
Pete recently revealed that he is eager to find out the sex of his baby. “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

Newlywed couple Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson drew plenty of photographic attention as they dropped by a California Pizza Kitchen on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles for lunch on Wednesday.
Pete joked around with photographers, showing off his “pillow baby,” claiming he’s going to keep it in the trunk, and asking snappers if they’ll keep an eye on it for him.
We’ll see how funny things really are in just a few months, now won’t we Mr. Wentz?

Newlyweds and parents-to-be Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were snapped preparing to depart from LAX just moments ago.
While Ashlee remained consistent in her all black pregnancy garb, her Fall Out Boy babydaddy looked nothing short of childlike, rocking a sleeveless hoodie, skinny jeans and hightops.
After checking in and getting their luggage cleared, expectant Ashlee offered photogs a rare profile shot of her burgeoning belly.
Isn’t human reproduction adorable?!?!

It was double date night at Chilli’s in Encino, CA yesterday, y’all!
Shortly after landing in L.A. from their week-long stay in Dallas, on-again, off-again couple Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo joined newlyweds/parents-to-be Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz for a late afternoon bite to eat at the family-friendly restaurant.
Weeks after confirming she’s expecting, Ashlee is finally starting to show.
We think she was further along than she let on.
Either that or little Miss Mum-to-Be had herself one too many servings of the Awesome Blossom!

Newlyweds Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were spotted leaving a doctor’s appointment in West Hollywood yesterday.
It was obvious that Ashlee was the patient and Pete was there to support his wife as she left with a band aid on her left arm, a sure sign of having had bloode drawn. It seems everything had gone well for the expectant parents judging from the smiles they flashed as they neared their car.
It also seems that the new Mrs. Wentz is really enjoying the her new curves that pregnancy has brought as she has been spotted wearing low cut curve hugging dresses more and more in recent history!

Confirming his metrosexual status, Pete Wentz dragged his newly knocked up bride Ashlee Simpson for a showing of the Sex and the City movie last night at a Hollywood theater.
After catching the must-see movie of the summer, the not-so-happy looking newlyweds hit up a trendy dessert bar (pregnancy cravings anyone?) before ending their night off at a very parental 11:30 pm.
Meanwhile, Pete is estatic about the prospect of becoming a papa. “I’m excited to be a dad,” he tells E! News. “I’m a genuinely nervous person. The first time I ever went to the doctor’s office and heard the heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything. It feels good.”

Mum-to-be Ashlee Simpson treated hubby Pete Wentz, who turned 29 on Thursday, to a birthday dinner at Foxtail in West Hollywood last night.
If that was Ashlee’s only birthday present, Pete is unlikely to be disappointed.
He recently told E!’s Jason Kennedy: “The truth is I hate my birthday. I don¹t like it at all. It’s because I realized I’m bad at receiving presents. I’m really bad at receiving presents so I get really nervous around my birthday and I really don’t want people to give me presents.”
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call Reverse Psychology 101.

Does Hollywood have a new set of BFFs?
That sure looks to be the case!!!
With his bass in tow, Pete Wentz was spotted arriving at John Mayer’s L.A. home today.
So, how did this unlikely union happen? John recently wrote about the newly married Fall Out Boy rocker on his official blog.
John said he was “inspired” by Pete’s creativity, adding: “Your mind is like a stadium with the dome open… you have ZERO judgment when it comes to things that move you.”
