The Spanish star confesses she was a precocious and troublesome child and still has regular tantrums.
Penelope tells the December issue of Vogue magazine: “My mother always tried to not to laugh in front of me. I was the most difficult. Stubborn, very rebellious. I didn’t want to be told what to do. I still do the kicking once in a while.”

After launching their debut Autumn/Winter collection for Mango, fashionable sisters Penelope and Monica Cruz strike a fierce pose for the subsequent ad campaign hitting mags and bus shelters in August.
Penelope is certainly not stranger to the fashion world. In addition to being the former face of P. Diddy’s fashion line Sean Jean, she also owns her own retail store called Amarcord in Madrid.
The 33-year-old actress has also recently signed a deal to officially become the face of jewelry and handbag collections for the Japanese retail chain, Samantha Thavasa.

Friends in humanitarianism Penelope Cruz and U2 frontman Bono engage in some hardcore public displays of admiration during a beachside stroll in sunny Saint Tropez on Thursday.
Penelope, who is currently taking a break from work on the new Woody Allen film in her native Spain, joined the the Irish rocker and pal Helena Christensen for an end-of-the-week romp under the French sun.
The triad of dogooders first met during the launch of the RED campaign (which works to help HIV sufferers in Africa) last year.
Conspicuously missing from the festivities? Ali Hewson – Bono’s wife of 25 years.

If you’ve long fretted over the fact that your lashes never seem to look as long or full as the models in those mascara commercials, there may be a reason why!
According to Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority, mega cosmetics company L’Oreal misled consumers by failing to make clear that Penelope Cruz was wearing some fake individual lashes on her Paris Telescopic Mascara commercial.
L’Oreal said it would comply with an order to be clear about models wearing fake lashes.
No word on the excessive Photoshopping and retouching cosmetic companies are so known for using.

Hollywood stunner Penelope Cruz and her (much hotter) younger sister Monica are all smiles as the arrive to the exclusive launch of the new Mango Collection today in Ibiza, Spain.
The young and talented sisters have designed a collection for the Spain-based street fashion chain, consisting of a mix of red-carpet-inspired evening wear, jeans, knits and basics based on their own fashion style.
Speaking of the new clothing range, Penelope said, “This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. We just had to find the right people to do it with. We’ve always loved clothes – we used to hide in the bathroom with fashion magazines and say, ‘I want that one.”
