Nicole Scherzinger was seen busting out of Avalon nightclub in West Hollywood last night.
The Pussycat Doll has been working on her solo album, Her Name Is Nicole, for the past two years with no sign of a firm release date after it has been pushed back twice already. Her first two singles Whatever You Like and Baby Love were commercial flops in the US, and her upcoming third single Puakenikeni was chosen by fans voting on her official website. Although Nicole has had much more commercial success as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, she has said she wants to focus strictly on her solo material.
Her dogged perseverance is quite impressive. Among other things.

Humina humina humina!
Looking sun-kissed and as stunning as ever, Nicole Scherzinger, a.k.a. the only Pussycat Doll that ever mattered, graces the December issue of German FHM magazine.
The raven-haired songstress tells the men’s mag that boys ignored her until high school and that she wasn’t confident about her looks until she started making music.
“I wasn’t very popular,” admits Nicole. “Guys just wouldn’t go out with me. It wasn’t until I got to high school that I began to blossom. Even though I was shy, uncomfortable and lanky, my music brought me out of myself.”

Proving that the early Pussycat catches the worm, Nicole Scherzinger is among the first to arrive at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.
Showing off her shape in a backless minidress, the raven-haired songstress was all smiles as she celebrated her inaugural stroll down the red carpet as a solo artist.
The remaining Pussycat Dolls are rumoured to be locked up in their cages.

It’s a sad, sad time in pop music.
With the likes of Beyonce touring the world and Christina Aguilera knocked up, we’re forced to focus on far lesser talented singers still looking for their first big hit.
That being said, former Pussycat Doll frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger continued to strive from a solo career as she dropped by the NYC set of MTV’s ‘Total Request Live’ today.
Rocking a silver mini-dress and spiked ankle boots (trend watch!), the raven-haired songstress was on hand to debut her latest single, ‘Whatever You Like’ featuring T.I.
As for her semi anticipated solo debut ‘Her Name Is Nicole’, look for an October 16 release date. If not to check out what she can do on her own, it’s worth the download just to hear the Ne-Yo-produced songs that were originally meant for Britney Spears.

While the song is more annoying that six Pussycat Dolls hanging off a pole, the video, featuring the equally sexy T.I., is great if only for visual stimulation.

It appears one of the Pussycat Dolls has snuck out of her cat’s den.
Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger was spotted frocklicking (literally) on the shores of Hawaii yesterday with a tattooed mystery man.
After a short (but revealing) yoga class, the bikini-clad songstress carelessly played with her young boy toy in the ocean as a growing crowd of onlookers collected on shore.
