Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey were all business as they departed at LAX International Airport today in Los Angeles.
Rocking similar jeans-and-tee travel outfits, the casually dressed couple made a last-minute arrival to their gate en route to a mystery destination.
Where to? Cabo perhaps? Maybe Maui? Not likely.
While the often unemployed couple can be found frolicking at various beachside destinations, both currently have hot gigs on their plate. While Vanessa has been mapping the country city by city promoting her new big screen comedy Disaster Movie, Nick is hosting High School Musical: Get in the Picture on ABC.
Disaster Movie opens on Friday. The season finale of Get in the Picture is on September 16. Once that’s over, the unemployment checks will resume and normalcy can once again be restored.

An incognito Nick Lachey lands at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Thursday looking typically casual.
So, what is Jessica Simpson’s ex and Vanessa Minnillo’s current doing in the Big Apple? To tape voiceovers for his upcoming show, High School Musical: Get in the Picture. The muscle-bound star returns to his reality roots when he hosts the highly anticipated spin-off competition.
For two hours a week, wannabe HSM stars will tirelessly compete for the grand prize: an appearance “in a music video shown in the end credits of the feature film, Disney’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year.”
No, seriously. From what we can tell, this is pretty much a competition to become an extra.

Once upon a time, Nick Lachey was a multi-platinum recording artist, had a hit reality show and was one half of Hollywood’s most celebrated couple.
These days, the former boy bander will take a pay check where he can get it!
During a celebrity-void event at the Mattel Showroom in New York City yesterday, Mr. Lachey unveiled a custom jeweled Hot Wheels car designed by celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. Bling bling!
The 18-karat white-gold car features more than 2600 micro-pave set blue, white and black brilliant diamonds, weighing in at nearly 23 carats.
Pride sold seperately.

Perpetual vacationers Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo enjoy a beachside frolick on Wednesday outside of their private rented villa in Costa Rica.
Following an exhaustive 2-hour dip in the ocean, the tanned twosome dined at a ritzy eartery in the Papagayo Peninsula. After getting their eat on, they tried to sneak out by leaving through a side door, and hopping into their SUV — no valet for these two!
If history is any indication, the former singer and the former television personality are kicking off what will likely be a year filled with tropical getaways.
In 2007, Nick and Vanessa hit up Hawaii, partied in Miami, celebrated their birthdays in Puerto Rico and were even boning in Mexico.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are still going strong.
After their week-long celebration in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the out-of-work couple continued their birthday festivities together at Las Vegas hotspot LAX last night.
Much like their time in San Juan, the birthday duo was actually paid to party in Sin City.
Sadly, paychecks are as rare as a birthday nowdays for these two fading stars.

After getting shamelessly sh*tfaced at their joint birthday bash in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Friday, Nick Lachey and gal pal Vanessa Minnillo kept the party going the next day by hitting up a pool party at The El San Juan Hotel. Sadly, the unemployed couple were the most famous people there.
Unlike their raunchy Mexican vacation earlier this year, Nick and Vanessa kept their clothes on and their feet on the ground as they mingled with fellow no-namers Salt-N-Pepa, Gabrielle Union, and Caridee English (of America’s Next Top Model infamy).
Meanwhile, rumours continue to rumble that Nick and Vanessa are battling over a reality show deal. She wants one. He doesn’t.
While there is certainly a lesson to be learned from the firey crash known as Newlyweds (being followed around by cameras 24/7 is not the best afrodisiac), these two freebie-loving fallen stars could certainly use the work.

A handful of Hollywood D-listers showed up for Pepa (of Salt-n-Pepa fame), Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo’s joint birthday bash during the relaunch of The El San Juan Hotel & Casino 2007 in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Friday night.
Gabrielle Union and America’s Next Top Model alum Caridee English were among the lackluster stars who were on hand to enjoy the free booze and press as they danced the night away amid a sea of drunken party revelers.
On November 9, Nick will turn 34 while his lady love Vanessa will celebrate her 27th birthday. Meanwhile, Pepa, who real name is Sandra Denton, will turn 43. Her nose, on the other hand, will be celebrating its first brithday.

Nick Lachey and his lady love Vanessa Minnillo are happier than ever.
The low key lovers made a discreet coffee run to Starbucks on Monday afternoon in New York City. Onlookers watched the happy couple coo and fawn over each other as they waited for their highly caffeinated beverages.
Ever since their sexscapdes were printed in tabloids and blogs everywhere, the happy-in-love twosome have gone out of their way to keep a low profile.

Loved up couple Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey were spotted out for dinner in Beverly Hills last night.
While Nick kept it casual in blue jeans, Vanessa looked striking in a white full sleeve collar top, her hair tied back in a pony with a low fringe over her forehead.
The couple, who has been together since June of 2006, moved in with one another last in April, sharing Nick’s Bel Air, California home and purchasing an apartment in the Atelier condominium building in Manhattan.
Pssh, and they say relationships in Hollyweird don’t last!

After a rough few weeks of bad press, which included sex photos in Mexico and knife photos with drug lord Lindsay Lohan, loved up couple Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo appeared to have gone into hiding.
No interviews, no photos, no appearances, no nothing.
Now it appears that the tabloid darlings are finally ready to re-emerge. Looking all dolled up in matching outfits, Nick and Vanessa stepped out last night to party with friends at New York City hotspot Butter.
After a few drinks and shakes on the dancefloor, the seemingly smitten couple left hand in hand together at around 3 AM.
The former Miss Teen USA has no film or TV projects in the works, and the former Mr. Jessica Simpson hasn’t touched the Billboard charts since ‘What’s Left of Me’ in 2006. With all that free time, expect to see a lot more of these two lovebirds this summer.
