Newlyweds Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas enjoy Day One of their week-long honeymoon in sunny Oahu, Hawaii on Monday.
The 23-year-old American Idol alum and and her 42-year-old producer beau were married on Saturday in Beverly Hills.
Before hitting the beach, the newlyweds kicked off their romantic getaway with a little shopping at the local Gucci store.
Of the big day, Kat told press: “(Nick) is the love of my life.” Obviously she wasn’t considering the new Gucci tote when she said that!

Fresh from her weekend wedding at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, Katharine McPhee and her new hubby Nick Cokas make their way through LAX airport en route to a romantic honeymoon destination.
The newlyweds brought enough luggage for a nice long trip.
As for their fairytale wedding, Katharine admits it was everything was hoping it would be, saying, “(Nick) is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect.”
Enjoy it, Kat, cuz as anyone who is or ever has been married can attest to, it’s only downhill from here, baby!!!!
