Michael Lohan is lashing back (surprise, surprise!) at his superstar daughter in a new interview with ABC News, claiming “Lindsay’s out of control.”

The unfit father blames Lindsay’s DJ friend Samantha Ronson for dragging her around to clubs and drinking in front of her.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

Michael on Lindsay claiming that she’s “out of control” and obsessed with fame: “Who’s out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break. Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins … She’s gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who’s out of control? I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That’s control. How can she say I’m out of control?”

Michael on the source of Lindsay’s alleged problems: “I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay … Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life. That’s what Dina told me. I’m reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy.”

Michael on ex-wife Dina Lohan: “Dina’s a two-face. She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay’s good side instead of being a good parent.”

Michael on possibly ruining his relationship with his daughter: “I don’t give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she’s going to turn around to me and tell me, ‘Daddy, you were right.’”

MICHAEL LOHAN: LINDSAY IS BACK ON THE BOTTLE

Lindsay Lohan is drinking again thanks to her attached-at-the-hip gal pal Samantha Ronson. Or so says her father, Michael Lohan.

“Samantha drinks and passes the drinks under the table to Lindsay, and behind the scenes it gets worse and worse,” he tells MSNBC’s The Scoop. “Sam is using my daughter. My daughter isn’t working because she’s always with Sam. Even my ex-wife knows it. She just isn’t doing anything about it.”

It doesn’t end there. He later went on to tell E!: “People like Samantha Ronson don’t need to be around Lindsay. She shouldn’t be dragging Lindsay around nightclubs. Who was Samantha Ronson before Lindsay Lohan? She was nobody. She is using her for her own gain. All these people have inserted themselves into her life like parasites, and it’s not right. I’m done with them.”

He added: “I’ve been up and down the road (in discussions) with my ex-wife (Dina) and it’s to the point now that I’m going to confront Samantha and Jenny Muro (Lindsay’s production assistant) myself.”

And if we know Michael at all, we’re sure a camera crew from Entertainment Tonight will be there to capture each salicious moment.

Father extradonaire Michael Lohan is reportedly peddling his illegitimate daughter story to the celeb weeklies to the highest bidder.

Lohan has approached both OK! and People magazines with the offer of his exclusive story, should paternity tests prove he’s her biological father. “He’s approaching everyone to get the highest bid because, if he is the dad, he’s going to need the money for back child support,” said an insider.

No takers so far. Shocking, we know.

Michael Lohan has once again put his foot in his mouth, and this time, he’s apologizing for it.

In a newly “leaked” voicemail message, Michael apologizes to his daughter Lindsay for constantly talking about her life to the press.

Says Michael:

“I’ve been trying to reach you for a week now. I know that you were annoyed that I gave an interview and my need to comment about the people you are around, and obviously you took offense to it. Honey, I’m sorry. I am telling you, I just love you. And I promise you, I absolutely promise you, I will not mention your name in the press, at all, ever again.

“One of the reasons why I got so concerned is because we used to talk all the time. We were always texting, and then the texting was sporadic. You weren’t returning phone calls, so I was concerned. Look, I love you, honey. Please, please don’t do this anymore. Pick up the phone and talk to me. Everything from now on is between you and me. And I promise you, I will not go back on it, I will not break my word…

“I promise you, I’ll keep questions out of the press, when it comes to you. I promise. Just please, please, honey, call me or pick up the phone. You need to promise me.

“….When I was out of your life, everything started to unwind — all these things didn’t do well — and so on, so forth. And how people are blaming me because you’re not getting roles or something?”

Lindsay, take our advice: Give your father the money he’s really asking for and let him be on his way. Otherwise, expect a few more….leaks.

MICHAEL HAS LINDSAY’S BACK

Lindsay Lohan got a surprise visit on the set of Labor Pains yesterday and it wasn’t Samantha Ronson.

The unlikely suspect who dropped by (with his blonde bombshell gal pal no less) was LiLo’s father Michael Lohan.

The once estranged family patriarch paid an unexpected visit to his little girl after she forgot a dress at home.

Aww, ain’t that cute? Change the dress into a boxed lunch and remove years of fighting, bad parenting and a few stints in rehab and you’ve got yourself a typical family moment!

Meanwhile, it appears Michael isn’t just dad to Lindsay and Ali. He supposedly has a secret daughter, fathered while he was married to now-ex-wife Dina Lohan.

Michael tells Extra that he met a woman named Christie in 1982 in Houston. “In 1995, when I was separated from Dina, she contacted me that she was moving to Long Island. She was going through a divorce at the time. I was with her for a week. Years later, while I was in prison, she contacted to me to say she had a paternity test done that revealed the child’s father was not her husband. She said I was the only other man she had been with. My lawyers are dealing with this. When we find out the truth we will deal with it in the appropriate manner.”

A newly released outtake from Lindsay’s recreation of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic Last Sitting

“I’m not going to look at the photos — that’s my daughter!”

That’s what Michael Lohan said this morning to Us Weekly about Lindsay’s Marilyn Monroe-esque nude shots. He adds: “Lindsay is an adult, and she knows the direction she wants to take her career.”

Mom Dina Lohan, meanwhile, thought they were “tasteful.”`

Hmmm…..perhaps we should introduce Dina to papa Joe Simpson!

Lindsay Lohan’s all-star father Michael has launched a one-man crusade to find whoever sold drugs to his beloved daughter.

The god-fearing born-again Christian has spoken out after a man, claiming to be the starlet’s former dealer, attempted to sell his story to a number of newspapers and magazines.

The 47-year-old recovering coke addict — who last year ended a two-and-a-half year prison sentence for violating his probation — is furious.

He tells the New York Daily News, “I’ve been looking for the people who’ve been selling my daughter and these other kids the drugs. And come hell or high water, one day I’m going to expose them. God is going to get even with this guy.”

MICHAEL LOHAN WANTS REMPTION

In a new interview with the Associated Press, father extradonaire Michael Lohan (father of reformed drug enthusiast Lindsay) says he wants to patch things up with his family.

Here are a few gems from his chat.

Michael on what he wants most: “Reconciliation and redemption — across the board. Just all of us getting right with God.”

Michael on whether he blames himself for daughter Lindsay’s problems: “Absolutely. How can I not? I mean, we lead by example.”

Michael on spending time in a Christian-based rehab centre: “I made a commitment when I was in there to God and to myself that, when I got out, I was going to do God’s work, and I was going to share with other people what I’ve been through and how God changed my life.”

Michael on people who question the sincerity of his religious convictions: “I’ve had such an effect on my family and my daughter Lindsay, and I want to show them through my example that you can right the wrongs and turn it around. And I hope that the grace that has been given to me can work through my family, and that we can come back to that same place in our hearts.”

With that being said, are we buying it? Does Michael deserve a second third> forth chance? Or is redemption just another word for money grab?
