Matthew McConaughey has decided that trailer living is no longer for him.
The perpetually shirtless actor has ditched his 28-foot, $65 000 Airstream RV for a fancy $10-million home on slightly more than an acre in Malibu.
McConaughey started looking at homes to buy and decided on one that wasn’t even on the market. After he personally knocked on the door, however, a deal was struck.
At 3,500 square feet, the house is not as large as many in Malibu. And it’s old — built in 1949. But its acre-plus lot has room to park a fleet of Airstreams. The home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Three bathrooms?!?!
You know what that means, right? Some much needed showers. (Finally!)

A shirt? A jacket? Even a pair of sunglasses? Who is this man!?!?
The normally shirtless and bearded Matthew McConaughey sure cleaned up nicely as he shot a commercial for Dolce & Gabbana in Paris on Wednesday.
The print and TV advert, which will debut in November, is directed by photographer/director Jean-Baptiste Mondino.

Joined by a herd of out-of-breath paparazzi, Matthew McConaughey enjoys an early afternoon jog around the mountains of Malibu with an out-of-shape blonde-haired mystery man on Wednesday.
And if the fact that it appears Matthew was running commando is any indication, the out-of-work actor may have already worked up a pre-jog man sweat (if you know what I mean.)

Call it tantric cardio!
Looking oh so pec-tacular in a pair of shorts and…well…not much else, Matthew McConaughey was spotted making love to a picnic table yesterday during one of his now famous shirtless workouts in Malibu.
The hunky beefcake was sweating the booze and smoke away following a 3-day party binge with fellow toker Woody Harrelson at the Polaroid Beach House.

After parting ways with her long-time love Ryan Reynolds earlier this year, Canadian chanteuse Alanis Morissette became the envy of single women everywhere as she strolled on the beach in Malibu with the man recently named Hollywood’s ‘Hottest Bachelor’ according to People magazine.
Miss Morissette showed off her trim figure in a black bikini as she joined Matthew McConaughey at a sun and surf party on the beach. However, as Matthew’s romance with his stunning new 22-year-old girlfriend, Brazilian model Camilla Alves, is seemingly going from strength to strength, it looks like it was just two friends enjoying some down time together.
Sorry to disappoint, folks. No love match here. Keep it moving.

Matthew McConaughey is People’s new ‘Bachelor of the Year.’
They interview his mom and find out about life in that airstream trailer. But he’s far from being the only hunk in the mag listing 2007’s Hottest Bachelors, which hits newsstands on June 15. People also has categories for Scruffy Guys with Sex Appeal, Sexy Smart guys, Funny Guys, Powerplayers and Lean, Green Sexymachines (”ecocrusaders”).
Is there anybody who is not on one of these lists?

Chronically shirtless thespian Matthew McConaughey got the female extras on his movie set topless for some girl-on-girl action for a scene.
According to TMZ, while filming a pool party scene for his upcoming movie, ‘Surfer Dude’, McConaughey requested the female extras on set to ditch their tops for a little extra coin on the hour.
The 37-year-old actor, who is also producing the film, then asked the extras for some girl-on-girl action for the scene to which all extras but one obliged.
Not surprisingly, a rep for Camp Matthew said, “You should check with the Screen Actors Guild as they determine the pay scale and not Matthew McConaughey.”
You know what that means — overtime was on him!
