Advance ticket sales for All My Sons, the Arthur Miller revival starring Katie Holmes, are reportedly not nearly what they were in 1998 when a previous Mrs. Tom Cruise came to town.

As you may recall, Nicole Kidman was a big hit on Broadway in The Blue Room.

Sure, Nicole got nude in that play, but whatever….

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were spotted leaving upscale eatery E.Baldi in Beverly Hill yesterday accompanied by their daughter and Katie’s parents.

Though they left questions from the paparazzi unanswered, the happy family was high spirits as they entered the SUV.

Meanwhile, rocking a graphic retro-inspired dress and green leather shoes, two-year-old Suri appears to be growing out the blunt bob that she and her mother (and, well, her father, too) made famous wordwide.

What is next in store for Suri’s famous coif and how will this change affect hairdos as we know them? Only time will tell….

This should come as no surprise: Katie Holmes is headed for Broadway!

She will star next fall with John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson in a revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.

The play, from 1947, deals with a successful businessman who knowingly sold defective airplane parts to the government during World War II. The truth and its tragic consequences emerge when his son wants to propose to the daughter of his business partner.

The theater and opening dates have not yet been announced.

Katie first sparked rumours she was hitting the stage when she and hubby Tom Cruise were recently spotted in the Big Apple attending The Country Girl.

Break a leg, Mrs. Cruise!

Proud parents Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise took their adorable 2-year-old daughter Suri to the Hollywood set of Will Smith’s upcoming movie Seven Pounds yesterday.

So, what was the happy family doing on set? Tom’s adopted son Connor is playing a young version of Smith in a very minor role.

Even with superstar parents by his side, the 13-year-old actor-in-the-making reportedly had to audition for the part!

TOMKAT TAKES IN A GAME

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes turned out to cheer on LA Galaxy at their home match at the weekend.

But it seems the celebrity couple was not only there to enjoy the football.

With David Beckham on the pitch and Victoria away on fashion duties, Tom and Katie appeared to have been roped into babysitting for their celebrity friends.

TomKat kept a close eye throughout the game on the Beckham boys, 9-year-old Brooklyn, 5-year-old Romeo and 3-year-old Cruz.

The happy family also brought along their daughter two-year-old daughter Suri, and Tom’s adopted kids, 15-year-old Isabella and 13-year-old Connor.

But the enthusiastic cheers from the box at the Home Depot Center were not enough to see the home side triumph. The New York Red Bulls scored a 2-1 Major League Soccer victory over LA Galaxy.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes add a splash (ok, maybe a tidal wave) of colour as they hit the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday.

While Katie wore a vintage Giorgio Armani red sequined beaded bustier and full ball gown skirt from the Fall 1993 collection (the shoes are Louboutins), her hubby toned this down in a Giorgio Armani Hand Made-to-Measure midnight blue two-button microfiber tuxedo with midnight blue velvet trim detail on the shawl collar. Tom jazzed things up by rocking a midnight blue vest, a cream silk shirt and cream diagonal striped necktie.

We’re a little affraid to ask….but….our thoughts?

Katie Holmes and her adorable daughter Suri Cruise were spotted arriving back to their hotel in New York City today.

While mum kept her look very Uptown, donning wide-leg jeans, trenchcoat and oversized sunglasses, her two-year-old bundle of joy was the epitome of Spring in a colourful dress and her favourite blankie.

Looking the image of both her famous parents, it’s no wonder why daddy Tom Cruise was enraged by rumours that the cute two-year-old is not his biological child.

Could that cute face be anymore the image of both her famous parents?

The Daily Mail strikes again!

FYB readers were in stitches earlier today with news of the strange interview Katie Holmes gave to the British publication where she talked about Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise and Tom Cruise.

Senational story? Yes. But senationalized? Sadly, yes again. A rep for Katie says: “That story is completely made up.”

In a new interview with a British media outlet, Katie Holmes says she’d like to “throw a tantrum” sometimes when she’s angry. Gee, I guess stars really are like us!

Here are some highlights from the 29-year-old actress’ interview.

Katie on what happens when she loses her temper: “I threw a lot of tantrums when I was little and secretly I’d like to throw a tantrum sometimes. That would be empowering, but I have a little girl who likes to do that, too.”

Katie on the weirdest experience she’s ever had with a fan: “As you can imagine, there have been many being married to Tom. I was in Boston for my little nephew’s baptism and this girl interrupted the ceremony to ask for my autograph. I thought: ‘Great, here I am in church and in trouble again! The priest is going to be mad at me.’ That was weird.”

Katie on her idea of heaven: “Falling in love with Tom and our daughter. I’m such a lucky woman. Sometimes I feel like I’m dreaming.”

Katie on what her dreams were as a child: “To marry Tom Cruise!” (Laughs)

Katie on how she met Tom: “We just went on this great date together, and it’s been wonderful ever since. He’s the most amazing man in the world. I’m so happy. I love him. I feel like he’s made my life.”

Katie on how she would describe Tom: “He’s just amazing. He’s kind, generous, smart, he’s Tom Cruise - he’s the most artistic man I’ve ever met. He makes me laugh like I’ve never laughed. He’s made me feel joy like I never have before. There are so many things. He’s the most wonderful human being I know.”

Katie on who she would like to be stuck in an elevator with: “Tom and Suri.”

Katie on whether she wants more kids: “Yes, we would, but not just yet.”

Katie on whether she would rather be rich and famous or poor and anonymous: “I don’t think anyone really believes they are going to grow up and become rich and famous. I certainly didn’t. It’s never been about fame or wealth for me. I’ve always been a hard worker. I had my own grass-cutting service when I was you. I convinced my mum to drag me and the lawnmower around and cut her friends’ lawns. I don’t think I’d ever be poor because of the strong worth ethic my parents instilled in me.”
