Self-appointed D-list celebrity Kathy Griffin held Bravo’s first annual A-list awards in New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom last night.
The highlight of the night? When she and Lance Bass performed a tables-turned reinactment of the controversial Super Bowl boob show starring Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson.
Sadly, however, A-list wannabes won’t be able to watch the ceremonies until Bravo premieres the show on June 12.
Meanwhile, check out Al Roker’s interview with the My Life on the D-list star this morning on the Today show, where Griffin defends her D-list status and shakes her stuff on Roker’s lap.

Kathy Griffin says she’s been banned from The View for commiting the most horrendous of daytime T.V. acts — she was too mean to Barbara Walters!!!.
“I was supposed to be on ‘The View’ [today],” said Griffin, who performs her final sold-out stand-up show tonight at Madison Square Garden. “But then I get a call from [producer] Bill Geddie, and he says, ‘You were too mean to Barbara [Walters] on your last special, so you can’t come on.’ Can you believe it? I’ve been banned before but never re-banned!”
Good. We’re sick and tired of this one-trick pony of a comedian anyway. Next!!!!

‘The View’ is expected to announce its new cohost by August 2, a timetable confirmed by both NYC tabs this morning.
While the New York Daily News calls Whoopi Goldberg a shoo-in to join the talker, Page Six posits that a triad of Whoopi, Kathy Griffin and Sherri Shepherd might rotate in and out of the pair of chairs vacated by Star Jones and Rosie O’Donnell.
Team Sherri! Let’s face it — Whoopi is irrelevant and only gay men like Kathy.
