Jordin Sparks and Lauren Conrad were among the over 700 people who attended the Hope Honors event hosted by the Avon Foundation at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City tonight.
The star-studded bash recognized outstanding leaders who provide hope, support, help, and healing, in the fight against breast cancer and domestic violence. This annual event has raised over $15.6 million since its inception in 2001.
Fellow attendees included Grey’s Anatomy hunk Patrick Dempsey and everyone’s favourite money manager Suze Orman.

Jordin Sparks looked as pretty as a present as she arrived at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles today.
The American Idol alum brought some heartland values to the event by sticking up for promise rings after endless ridicule by host Russell Brand.
Sparks claimed that those who choose to wear the chastity bling choose “not to be sluts.”
Because, you know, anyone who chooses to have sex is a slut.

Going from emo to primo in less than 4.5 seconds, Ashlee Simpson leaves jaws dropped to the floor as she graces the red carpet at The 2007 CosmoGIRL! Born to Lead Awards in New York City on Tuesday.
The lip-syncing sensation is being honoured for her off-the-charts fabulousness!
She’s dating Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz (who was also in attendance), proved her naysayers wrong by wowing ‘em as Roxie Hart in London’s production of Chicago last fall and has a brand new “fun party album” (her words!) coming out early next year.
Other celebs at the soiree included Raven Symone , American Idol alum Jordin Sparks, and, of course, Papa Joe Simpson.

As expected, 17-year-old judges’ darling Jordin Sparks took home the top prize during last night’s ‘American Idol.’
When snoozer host Ryan Seacrest finally read the results — almost 10 minutes past the show’s allotted two-hour running time — both Jordin and Blake Lewis did their best to act surprised. Using her patented nervous/humbled look, the towering Jordin accepted a bearhug from Blake as she fumbled for words to express her joy. “I can’t thank you [enough] for keeping me around,” she said, her voice cracking. “Thank you so much for everything.” Very touching, indeed.
Admittedly, I couldn’t care less about ‘Idol’ since it seems each subsequent year is less and less talented. The only good thing that ever came out of that show is Kelly Clarkson. I personally couldn’t give two flying hoots about makeup queen Carrie Underwood, makeup queen Clay Aiken or any other wannabe from that show. ‘Idol’ is nothing more than an overhyped karaoke show. I’m the brilliant words of Paris Hilton, ‘I’m so over it.’

‘American Idol’ hopeful Jordin Sparks got the designer treatment tonight (and will do so tomorrow night, as well), thanks to Mark Badgley and James Mischka.
In an attempt to up the finale’s fashion ante, producers of the show sought out the design duo to style Jordin’s last look. Badgley and Mischka kindly obliged and flew to Los Angeles with 100 dresses for the songstress to choose from.
The daughter of former NFLer Phillippi Sparks will be decked out head to toe, rocking not only a Badgley Mischka dress, but also their jewels, shoes, evening bag and even perfume!
Blake Lewis, meanwhile, will be decked out in the latest argyle sweater vest the Gap can churn out.
