Check out the new photo of Johnny Depp.
The folks over at Paramount just sent it out, along with the news that ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street’ will open wide on Christmas Day.
With him: Helena Bonham Carter, as Mrs. Lovett. Tim Burton is the director of the film.
Anyone else excited as I am?

The good people over at Paramount have just released this photo of Johnny Depp in the upcoming movie ‘Sweeney Todd.’
Check out the Westminster Clock Tower looming in the distance and the blood seeping between the cracks of the wooden floorboards.
Johnny stars in the title role as a London man unjustly sent to prison who vows revenge. When he returns to reopen his barber shop, Sweeney Todd becomes the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
The film is due out in December. Will we be watching?

Johnny Depp led the cast of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’ at the film’s world premiere in Disneyland, Los Angeles yesterday.
The Pirates series has become one of the most successful film franchises of recent years, with the first two instalments taking $1.7 billion at global box offices.
This gala celebration for the third installment raised $3 million for Make-A-Wish efforts, through ticket sales, with Disney providing an initial donation in excess of $1 million to the charities, in addition to underwriting the entire cost of the premiere (so that 100% of the ticket income benefited both Make-A-Wish organizations.)
