The red carpet lit up last night as a few of Hollywood’s A-list Hispanic stars attended the Voto Latino party in Denver, CO.
Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba stopped and talked to the crowd and posed for pictures on their way into the club.
Rumors were swirling that Leonardo DiCaprio would make an appearance though nothing can be confirmed….yet.
Talking to the press line, new mom Alba told reporters: “I am so happy to support Barack [Obama]. I adore his way. I love how human he is. He gives us hope. I feel like we can relate to him. And the first step, really, to making a difference or any kind of change in the way that our country is run is by getting out and voting.”
Fellow celeb partygoers included rapper Fat Joe, actress Sofia Vergara and Wilmer Valderrama of That 70s Show fame.
Rosario is the co-founder of Voto Latino, a four-year-old organization that’s making inroads with registering and informing Latino voters.
The message last night was loud and clear: mobilize and vote!

With a new baby in her life, Jessica Alba is more concerned about the future of America than ever. So it’s no surprise that the new mom showed up at the Democratic National Convention today in Denver, CO.
Though his opponent’s attack ads famously compare Barack Obama to Paris Hilton, “celebrity” is anything but a slur to the legions of A-listers who have packed into Invesco Field to watch the Senator accept the Democratic Party nomination.
Jessica and hubby Cash Warren were joined by the likes of Fergie, Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.

Ashley Tisdale stepped out tonight to attend the 2008 ALMA Awards in Pasadena, CA.
Gaining more A-list calibur by the year, big names like host Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, Paula Abdul, America Ferrera and even Disney darling Senela Gomez were on hand to lend some star power to the ceremony.
Eva is not just the host of the awards, but also the executive producer of the event which celebrates the outstanding artistic achievements of Latinos in motion pictures, TV and music.
Of the star-studded affair, fashion guru Steve Cojocaru tells Variety: “For the Almas this year, the word is sex. And it’s absolutely glamorous. The Latin stars really know how to dress up. They’re not afraid of their sexuality. And they’ve got the perfect host in Eva. That’s glamour.”

Honor Marie Warren’s arrival on June 7 (and weighing in at 7 pound, 8 ounces) was peaceful. “I didn’t scream,” Jessica tells
OK!. “It was really Zen.”
A natural childbirth was important to her. “Yes, I wanted to do it naturally. The labor was more like meditation. I did yoga breathing. I was focused.”
Confirms Cash: “She didn’t make a sound,” he says. “It was amazing.” The newlyweds, who tied the knot quietly at the Beverly Hills courthouse on May 19, sound happy, not befuddled. “We’re not panicky,” says Jessica. “We used to laugh when she cried!”

Taking a break from diaper duty, new parents Jessica Alba and Cash Warren made a trip to Bloomingdales in Century City, CA for a well-deserved shopping spree on Friday.
While many new moms face bouts of post-partum blues, it appears parenthood has offered the typically scowl-faced actress an expected surprise: a pleasant disposition!
Could that really be a smile gracing Jessica’s face?!?

Less than a month after giving birth, Jessica Alba is slowly but surely shedding all her extra weight.
The new mom is clearly fighing to regain her figure as she spent the afternoon shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday.
Dressed casually in tracksuit bottoms and flip-flops, the actress did however seem to be having problems with her back as she stopped for a stretch.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jessica, who recently married her baby daddy/long-time boyfriend Cash Warren, delivered her first child, Honor Marie Warren, in Los Angeles at the beginning of the month.

Jessica Alba was spotted doing some maternity shopping the Miu Miu boutique in Beverly Hills today.
The actress was wearing a very Indiana Jones inspired outfit complete with brown fedora. She and a male friend took their time browsing through sweaters, dresses and shoes chatting and laughing all the way.
It seems to be a little late in her pregnancy to buy even more maternity clothes, but our guess is she’s in search of the perfect new outfit to wear to the opening of her upcoming film ,The Love Guru, with Justin Timberlake and Mike Meyers.
