Jesse McCartney flashed photogs a quick greeting hello as he arrived at LAX International Airport on Sunday for a flight to New York City.
The young pop star has just been announced as one of the many performers for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009, from Hollywood.
Other hitmaking singers set to ring in the New Year include Natasha Bedingfield, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, Solange and Robin Thicke.
Fergie will host the Hollywood segments, which will air on December 31 on ABC.
Ryan and Dick will host the festivities in New York City starting at 10 PM.

Jesse McCartney was spotted leaving Foxtail nightclub late Tuesday night after an evening of clubbing in West Hollywood.
Just before the sun rose, the R&B-pop singer/songwriter held on tight to a dark-haired mystery lady as they made their way to an awaiting car.
If you listen carefully, you can actually hear the collective heart of 12-year-olds all across the country break!

Dancing With the Stars diva Julianne Hough and teen pin-up Jesse McCartney joined host Jimmy Kimmel this morning to announce the 2008 American Music Awards nominations at a press conference in Beverly Hills.
Alicia Keys and Coldplay lead the nominees. She has five. They have four. Both are contenders for Artist of the Year.
Other contenders up for the night’s most coverted trophy include Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and The Eagles.
The show will air live on November 23 from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Who gets your vote for Artist of the Year?

Jesse McCartney as the new face of Bongo clothing. The teeny bopper will appear in its fall 2008 advertising campaign.
Jesse is the first individual male spokesperson to appear in the brand’s advertising campaign.
Past Bongo “celebrity” spokeswomen have included Kim Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari and Vanessa Minnillo.
The ads will debut in September issue of the magazine.

Out to enjoy an evening at Coco Deville in Los Angeles last night was young teen heartthrob Jesse McCartney.
This young man feels that he needs an image change in order to stop being viewed as a child. The 21-year-old has come up with a sexy new R&B album, Departure, which he hopes will make the world embrace him as a sexy man.

Jesse McCartney and Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane were spotted at the Waverly Inn in New York City last night.
The two had dinner and then went to Johnny Utah’s to party. From there, it was off to Butter Nightclub where the lovebirds cut the rug into the wee hours of the morning.
As they headed out, Jesse was snapped buying a rose for his new lady love before they both went back to Aubrey’s hotel.

Twenty-year-old pop star Jesse McCartney shows off his older, more matuer look at a listening party for his new album at The Shore Club in Miami Beach on Monday.
Surrounded by a bevy of adoring teenage lady fans, the newly ‘doed hearthrob was on hand to meet-and-greet the handful of remaining fans who still give a squat that he has a new album out.

It was another action-packed night in Hollywood (OK- when is it not?) as 20-year-old Jesse McCartney was spotted leaving Goa nightclub.
Under California law, no one under 21 is permitted to enter the club, much less drink inside. But these snaps of the 20-year-old actor/singer exiting the celeb-flocked hotspot tell a very different story.
